Tammi (Rajah) had posted about an appointment time being messed up by the receptionist and someone (?) ripped in and said she wished she had time to kill on the boards, blah, blah, blah. Kristy - fill in the missing pieces here.... I told her that it was ok that she didn't have time - she was obviously blessed with tact....

What'd I say now? (When I opened this thread it took me directly to Deena's post and without reading the other posts above hers I thought I had misread some post here and, well, Yayas being Yayas-thought all hell had broken loose...)

I saw that thread... I'm guessing she didn't realize all that Rajah has been through lately and didn't realize how b*tchy and tactless her comment seemed given the circumstances. Truthfully, the way that post was worded, someone who DIDN'T know the situation might be wondering why someone would bother to post that, I thought.

I think Lainey asked about the apartment info. It's in an upscale complex and it's a 2br with a den...it's not called a bedroom because it does not have a closet, but the two bedrooms have walk in closets and thats for about 1250sf. I like the layout with the boys rooms on one side of the apt and ours on the other. Yes, we're going to have $$ to buy again, but want to get familiar with the area before comitting to another house.

Lainey, understand about the king. We bought the queen and realized our mistake right away.

Jeanne, the cusinart mini prep is way too small. Do you make salsa or marinara sauce. The bigger processors are better for those jobs. My motto has always been "you can never be too rich, too thin or have too many towels"!!

Sherry, I see you're going through what I did a few weeks ago. Give him clear liquid for the next 24 to 36. DH and son had it, that's what doc said and then when I got it, that worked like a charm for me. Hope those burns stop stinging soon.

My burns aren't stinging much anymore. Mainly only if I hit them on something. I have a nice red circle on my leg, though. And a nice mark on my wrist.

Suzanne, sounds like a lovely apartment!!!! I totally understand about not wanting to buy into a house until you know the area!!!!! As for the bed, not sure how come it took us so long to realize we were in a small bed. We are much happier now!

Well I found out what my bonus is going to be after taxes... I get it on Friday and oh boy will it be nice!!!! Decided I am going to shop for a few things and then save the rest for a rainy day

Sherry...I hope the burns are feeling better as well as your DS. Glad to hear Junior is back to work, but not that it is 2nd shift.

As for the threads....there are several I wish they would move. That way I would stop reading them and getting 'ticked". I missed the Rajah thread. I did notice that her latest one says for those who care. I do hope everything works our for her Mom and her.

My Dad seems to be doing okay. I will be having dinner with him tonight if I don't go home sick. I am so tired of not feeling well. I think since October I have only felt 100% for about a week. The changing weather doesn't help

Elaine...enjoy your bonus. We don't get them here unless you are higher up in the company. They don't realize that the reason the high ups are doing there job well is because of the lowly workers below them

Todd, Sherry got some burns yesterday with a little kitchen accident

Amanda, there is one good thing about my company is that when the two merged, there were Union and non-Union (management) employees. All management get bonuses (that is *IF* they decide to do them at all) So there is some good to being a "management" employee. But yeah, the ones who get praised the most and get these amazing bonuses (the higher up you are, the higher your percentage is that figures into what we will get) but we are the ones who make them look good
