E...Bojangles is like a KFC except they have spicy chicken..and the fries are steak fries with cajun seasoning salt..it's YUMMY.

Yet another busy night here--bell choir practice was extra rigorous because we are playing 2 pieces at the services on Sunday. Director made it all better by giving us all valentines--little heart-shaped boxes each containing 5 fancy chocolates. Just what my hips need!! LOL!!! Does she know me, or what? Each candy box had a cartoony type valentine sentiment on it--mine was a pic of a moose and it said "You Amoose Me". I guess I'm the "class clown"

I can't hire anyone until I get the job, Liz dear No, I'm not packed yet, because those two adorable kids want lots of Mommy time!

My fondue recipe? The world's easiest...24 ounces of chocolate, your choice (mine was a combo of the beloved Scharffen Berger, Special Dark and Semi Sweet) and a pint of heavy cream. You scald the heavy cream in a fondue pot (or over medium heat) then reduce heat and slowly add the chocolate until it is all incorporated. We served with brownies, pound cake, marshmallows, strawberries, pretzels and caramel...does that show you the carb freaks we are?!

Nancy, were you looking to come out to Chicago as well? I am lucky, for us flying to and from Chicago is about $80-120 r/t If I fly into midway and get the cheaper air it is almost a wash with cost of driving (gas & wear/tear on car) That is why I am always so flighty about deciding how I'm going to get there!

Quick hello before I get the last 2 boys up!

I love carbs, too! I don't plan on staying on Atkins forever. I am going to slowly add some carbs in, just eat smaller portions than I am now. I could never give up mashed potatoes forever.

Most of our snow is melted, so of course, they are predicting snow today.

I wish I could go to Chicago. Not sure if I could swing it or not.
