What a wonderful group of friends!!!!!!!!! The basket, cards, candy and prayer cross are all so wonderful. The girls have not opened their box from Beth yet, Cassie is sleeping and I want both girls there when it is opened. I am sure it is wonderful and they will love it.

Today was a lot better than yesterday. Yesterday was my breakdown day. I just kept crying. Today I didn't cry as much, but it still is difficult. Please keep praying for my Dad, he is still not eating or drinking (5 full days now). It is difficult for me to eat since food just makes me think of what he is doing to himself. I have only been able to make myself eat at the end of the day.

I found out today that my oldest brother is regretting not saying things to my Mom. Please remember him in your prayers.

Once Dad has started eating again maybe I can talk about more pleasant things on this thread....if shep let's me in

I'm so happy that today was a better day for you. I pray that your Dad starts eating..... that is only adding to your stress level. I'm sure your Mom knew all the things your brother wished that he had said to her - that's the wonderful thing about Moms - they love you without borders or boundaries - love you when you say mean things - or don't say anything at all.... She knew, she knew......

DBF update: he's still trying to come in but work just seems to get in the way(I'm hanging in there,we have gone 3 months between visits once before when the distance was worse)

Just popping in quick to say hello. I want to head out for work a little early today...after watching lots of bbq on Food TV, I think I'm going to Red Hot and Blue for lunch. Nice thing is that half of it will become dinner, too.

Still waiting on those blasted W2's. Last year, I was filed and waiting by this time.

Deena, Sherry, Tara, have your kids seen Boohbah yet? Kevin happened by it yesterday and asked for it today. He's also taken to saying "OhhhhhMAMA" over and over! I don't think that has anything to do with the show, though!

Hope Dave and Bethie are enjoying WDW.

Funny thing, one of the people I've 'known' the longest here on the DIS (I hang out in the cast members area), transferred into my store. She came in last night and asked "Are you Suzanne who's Poohnatic?" Instant connection, LOL! We DISers are everywhere.
It probably would have sounded weird if I wasn't on the Dis, though!

Hi all!! Just popping in quickly here while I am munching on some food. I went shopping during lunch. My absolute favorite pair of jeans are starting to wear at the seams so I needed to replace them! One of the store was having a clearance sale so I got on pair of jeans for half off and another for 30% off. I love clearance sales
