Morning, yayas! Boy, I'm tired. I woke up at 4:15 to DH yelling at son. He was in the playroom watching a movie. We've been saying for a long time "If mom or dad aren't up, and ESPECIALLY if the sun isn't shining yet, go back to bed". Apparently, DH taking the gamecube away from him for another month wasn't enough, because I came down at 7am to find him watching a movie.

I think I'm gonna go back to bed for an hour, school is on a two hour delay. I did tell him that he has to get back to sleep until I come to wake him up.

I made a cake in your honor last night!

Well, the child went back to bed for an hour and a half and now he's just gotten on the bus for school. I think the new dosage of the one medication isn't helping. Doctor says if it doesn't do the job, she's going to give the kid sleeping pills. He has NEVER slept much, but the lack of sleep exacerbates all his other issues.

Had to run to make sure my garbage was out before the truck came through, LOL. They didn't pick up the other day because of the snow. I didn't know garbagemen got snow days, LOL.

CS, how about you drive up to see DBF? Sounds like his is the crazy schedule!

Bethie, if I don't get back on here, enjoy your trip!

Shep, the superbowl is an excuse for us to eat munchies and watch commercials...the bright spot is that when we watch the Superbowl, we know that all the NASCAR stuff is right around the corner! I've been watching all the Food Network 'big game' stuff, and I'm dying for some good wings and corndogs now!

Lily, it was Tara with the Zima! I can pour that one for ya if you'd like, but in our house, Zima is called 'brat booze'. I go for Southern Comfort or wine here! (Tara no digs at what you drink, I just don't drink it!)

Liz, how was Oliver?

I think I'll be joining some other DISers for a wishes cruise. I really want the Illuminations one, but beggars can't be choosers. It will probably be really cool to see Wishes from a distance. The cool part is, after that's over, I can probably drag Heather over to Epcot to watch IllumiNations, too!!! Lucky me!!

Off to get some cleaning done. I'm going to Old Navy before heading into work and hoping some clearance stuff is left in my size!

For you Amanda. I really can't add much to what's already been said. Just know that we are all here for you to offer whatever support and comfort we can. I'm so very sorry to hear that other members of the family are adding to your stress level. Never understood why people have to behave that way, but I see it in so many families.

And our birthday girl needs too!! Sorry yesterday was so crummy. Hope today is better and you enjoy your weekend thing in Richmond!

Suzanne, it's so frustrating when the kids learn how to work the entertainment equipment and make use of it when you are totally unaware!! At least he was still in the house! But, yeah, sounds like a call into the doc just might be in order.

Now I better get myself back to work so I can leave a clean desk for the boss tomorrow! (I just love that the boss has to cover for me when I'm gone!!)

Well, DH just called and we have our solution. We usually leave the tv on NBC at night (watch the weather, then go to bed). If we hide the remotes for the various equipment downstairs, we have removed problem (he can't switch to the DVD player). Up in the playroom, the rca jacks have been removed from the DVD player!

I am praying so hard for you and your Dad. Have you talked to your Dad and explained to him that you just couldn't handle it if he died at this time, too? Maybe he needs to realize that others besides him are hurting and grieving and that you just cannot handle another loss at this point and time.

I know it's not easy - but I wouldn't let those loser relatives upset you - trust me - they are NOT worth it. The hateful words and actions coming from them are a result of their guilt and shame. I am praying that God will place an armor around you and deflect their words right back on themselves!

Stay strong, dear and bask in your love of Todd and the girls. And know that you are very much in all of our hearts here at the DIS.
