Oh no, old bike... just hadn't ridden it in a while. It was a cheapy I got years ago at Target.

He wanted a cake like that... I guess I should attempt to bake one tomorrow and see how it comes out.

This job is really killing me. No time to dis! I had to work through lunch today! Now I'm dising through dinner...chicken taquitos. Ethan just woke up so hes fussing and so that will make dinner even colder. Oh well,

I'm going to try to stop by tonight. Not sure if i will make it. I have 45 spelling assessments to review (50 words each...ugh!).

Don't work too hard tongiht people!!

just came to say hi! Dinner was ggood. Kid is in the play pen and I'm headed for my marking pen now!! Off to do work.
OH heres one for you...comes under the heading "IMA DORK" I was talking to my best friend in St. Louis and when I remembered her birthday...was Sept. 2!!!! Then while I'm apologizing (she was cool with it since I had given her the present while I was in STL in June) I remembered that I forgot another friend's birthday...FROM AUGUST!! I really am getting old!! heheheh

Not as much exercise as walking the old bike home

Hoping Dave can save the pictures on his computer....if not, just have to go on another Alaskan cruise

But, it also had some other pictures....might be hitting a couple of you up to share if I can't get mine back.

See Nancy, I guess I saw it different. Same distance to go, just would take longer... wouldn't make me work as hard either (walking vs. biking fast). I would've just been annoyed with taking so much time to get home

Back is kind of sore today... not hurt, but stiff/sore like I worked it or something. Weird

Yep, Nancy, I'm usually a night owl! Need to get out of that habit, now that I have to get up with the kids at 7!

Was checking the storm on noaa's site, checking all my DC news sources to see who picked up the 'foot in mouth' quote from the prez's mom, and trying to track down some stuff, lol, so I didn't come back after having those mint juleps!

Gotta head over to Mom's today. She had some stuff biopsied yesterday, and I got no answer at the house last night. Odds were good that they were going to keep her in, but I was *supposed* to get a call. Anyway, I'll give them an hour and call again.

Who wants to help me out today? I am going to do the cake (got the eggs I needed). I also have to iron and make the house presentable for people on Saturday. I love my hubby

Yes, been watching Ophelia, but also looking for the next storm to brew. It's named Phillipe and that's the given name of one of Ed's close friends.

The weather channel website has taken down their link to the carribean satellite images-and I want to see what's out there.

Rosemary, still in the panhandle I am assuming? Ophelia's going to dump rain on your house today, regardless of what status she has...looks like she's going to head out to sea.

Hi everyone - sorry that I have been MIA - I'm a bit out of comision. I fell down my deck stairs on Sunday and broke my tail bone...... Pretty bad bruising and pretty bad pain. They gave me 800mg motrin and Vicadin and a lovely "donut" to sit on. I'm out of work for at least a week. Said it would take 4-6 weeks to heal then I have to go to an orthopedist.

Love and hugs to all - not sure how much posting I'll be doing.....

Ouch! I broke my tailbone years ago. Carried that blasted donut around for two months! It made sleeping rather interesting, since I don't like to sleep on my stomach!
