Anybody have restless legs syndrome? I am having a wicked tough time with mine tonight. The rheumatologist says there is something in my back laying on a nerve that causing it but there is not much we can do for it. Anybody got any helpful hints to deal with it? Ive taken 3 mg of Ativan and even that isnt calming it down.

Go see a sleep doctor and ask for MIRAPEX! It's a miracle drug for RLS. I was freaking out and wasn't sleeping AT ALL for months on end when I found this guy (maybe he could be my cabana boy). It's actually a Parkinson's drug, but they give it to you in teeny tiny doses for RLS. The very first night I took it - no RLS at all! I can't live without it now.

like we'll get one, but it is so dang tempting considering their gas miliage as well as the cost ($3000-$5000). Just wonder how much I'd like to drive one. I've enjoyed riding them though

I used to have lots of candles....then I had kids though, I did try and burn the house down with one during a snow storm that took out the power....I put it on a book shelf and it was catching the top of the book shelf on fire! oops! Luckily we caught it and only have the burned spot on the cabinet to remind us! What movie did you see?

Tara...heard you were ready to scream at school today because the admin (hence forth...those that shall not be named) can't decide how you are supposed to do your grades. Pass / Fail or classic grading! Nice that they finally made a decision...at 3 this afternoon as you were trying to get your parent expectation sheets done for the open house that was in 2 hours!! duh!! Also heard that Jarrod enjoyed his meet the teacher..although the hiding under the table was a bit nerve wracking!! The teacher seemed nice..way too peppy for nearly 8 at night!!

Speaking of scrapbooking...one of our new interpreters works at a scrapbooking store just up the road from school, so i think Astrid and I may try to go there some friday nights after work. This girl (can't think of her name...she's new!) also said we are supposed to get a recollections around here in the next 1 to 2 years.

I'm here!! I'm here!!! How d'ya do?!! Allow me to introduce myself, I'm the new Keyholder person at the Recollections store in Sterling!!! Yes, I got the promotion!! I got to close all by myself tonight, with the store manager present for questions. Out of 5 cash registers, only one was off and that one was $2.75 over!! It took me a long time, though, cuz I'm not fully familiar with the procedure yet. I can't believe it, though, I'm on my own starting Sunday!

Sorry the movie was boring, Nancy. Which was it? Jon got me a Tink punch, but I didn't know there was a Minnie or a Stitch. Must have Minnie, that's for sure :yes:

That animal is definitely a baby polar bear, Elaine. I'm sure of it. Just wondering why there's no snow. Love the bikes, just can't imagine you riding one of those heavy things!

I have been going to the gym every morning this week at 6 am. So this was my morning to sleep in and what happens??? the ole bladder decides that it should have been up at 545 this mornign!! ugh! So I'm up and ready for school. I'm going to head out in a couple of minutes and get a little quiet time before the rest of the building arrives!!

Suzanne, I just now saw your edit... that's the same bike as the 2nd one I posted, just a different color I love power, but until I get to drive a bike myself, I'm not sure how much power I need, or if a regular old bike will do!

Nancy, I'd do Harley but they are $$$$ they don't even list the MSRP online, but last I knew they had bikes starting at $10K... I can get a BMW bike for cheaper than that

Tara, you had sneated earlier too... shame on you for not getting to bed earlier I thought it was funny too, but truth be told, I'd love to see Luis eat his words!!!! Not likely, but if I ever see gas for $1.25, you better believe he's gonna pay for it!

I'm half asleep today. Cleo decided that she wanted to sleep cuddled in my arms last night... I didn't sleep well, but she was so cute and cuddly I couldn't kick her off the bed! Now I have Gwenie next to me all cuddly... can't get away from them, can I?

Hi everyone - good morning and Happy Friday.

Not much going on here - Chris started school yesterday - seems to be OK - he has a computer animation class which he seems very intereted in - they use the same software as Pixar. He looked quite nice in his new clothes - all American Eagle this year....no haircut.....

My husband has been obsessing all week about gas prices....he paid $3.09 a gallon on Tuesday....last night talking about motorcycles.....I am trying very hard to follow his line of thinking -spend all that $$ on a motorcycle to save on gas???? haha Actualy he had one many years ago - he sold it the week before Alyssa was born - I did always enjoy riding with him.

I've decided to try and stop being so disgusted about my job - it's up to me whether I want to make any changes. Not ready yet - instead I will think happy thoughts about my trip - in 24 days!!!!!!

Karen - prayers for you - hope you get some good rest this weekend and your doctors reccomendations work.

Nancy - love your new toppers...how do you display them?? I am feeling the gravitational pull to the YCE........

One couple walked out on the movie ....I'm too cheap to do that.
Besides it had my ex-cabana boy in it

We still have 2 weekend trips coming up this fall and I am afraid of what the gas prices will be. One has quite a lot of driving involved and I have a SUV Oh well.....what can ya do?
Dave has been looking at a new car.....this might just make it a faster decision. He drives 100 miles a day to work and back in a truck
