Tiara - cardinal rule at our house is - If you kill it or catch it, you must clean it!! (Although I did have to spend 45 minutes plucking little feathers and pulling grass out of the turkey's butt -- DS never seems to get all of that off the darn bird! )

I have to get cracking and get to the post office and bank, print out some digital pics, and then catch up on TONS of office work.

Nancy - no more shopping for me, either! I am just waiting for the mailman to bring all of those packages!

Suzanne - thanks for the heads up on the ornaments - I guess I won't be traveling down to the mall an hour away then......

Pam, I kept forgetting to say this, but I got my ornaments (Cinderella) after Christmas. They were really cheap then. So if you don't mind waiting to use them next year, you can always wait until then

We had a wonderful time with Alyssa - we toured a restored WW2 Destroyer Escort ship - went to Outback for dinner- shopped with her and her roomate on Sunday.

Return hme - not so good....too much evidence of too much activity at the hosue while we are gone - Chris is denying adamantly - I do not believe him - I spent all last night in tears.....

Don't feel up to posting much else......

Sigh... Larry as Earofcorn!! Now THAT is brilliant casting. Larry's one serious hunk of cucumber!! I just ordered Lord of the Beans last week from Amazon! It's getting tucked away for Christmas though, so I'll have to wait awhile before I get to see King Earofcorn strut his stuff. Although, I suppose I could sneak a peek at it some night after he goes to bed. Except... he usually tucks ME in these days. Darn teenagers.

Elaine and Beth, airsoft guns are basically BB guns but the BBs are little plastic BBs instead of metal. It's becoming a popular hobby/activity now to gather groups of airsoft people together and pelt each other into oblivion, similar to the paint ball wars that are played. Tom and Cam play with a group of 20 or so people. They gather at a set up location, complete with trenches, "town squares", etc. Their mission: to save the world from the evil sniper dudes escaping in the jeep and/or rescue "town square" from said snipers... etc etc. So they don their camo gear, safety goggles, radios, etc etc... and drive off to save the planet every Sunday. Sigh. My heros.

Paula, I'm so sorry. If you need a shoulder we're here, okay?

Padme, ah! Okay. Of course. Duh. Funny thing is, I still don't actually remember that scene in the movie. I guess I was too busy snerking at "Darth Vadar's acting ability. Gack!

Alan is a sweet Mr. Mom for waiting up for those napping essentials. Makes me smile.

Yep that's what I've heard too. I haven't seen her in enough to know how she'll be as Stephanie, but I'm sure she'll be fine. I've read interviews in the past where Janet E was standing by her preference (Bullock) but guess that's not going to happen.

Thank you, all. I came home from picking up the guys to a box of See's. The card said it came from my YaYa family-THANK YOU! I have a feeling Mr UPS man showed the minute I left the house, so they're in the fridge for a bit before I have some.

Gotta print out some docs for work. We don't have internet and we reserved a truck for using an offsite facility. I had the reservations emailed to me at home so that it makes it easy to locate our information.

Larryboy is a hero in this house!!!! Alyssa just loves Veggitales!!!! (pardon me while I find my hairbush - oh wait - I gave it to the peach).

Trying to get into a better mood.....have pics from this weekend - will try to get some on imagestation.

I decided to go back to the Disney Shops website and they were having a Veteran's Day sale - Cinderella's Storybook ornaments were on sale - but the Princess ones weren't. BUT - there's free shipping over $75.00. Plus there are 2 coupon codes good for the site DIS10 or HOLIDAYTREAT.

The 10% applied to everything - even the sale items!

So -- I also got the Aurora jewelry box and the Princess flannel sheets and some ornaments.....

Pam - we have had 7 wild turkeys in the back yard every morning - thankfully my DH is not getting any ideas ...yet!!!

I saw a doe walking through our backyard on Saturday afternoon (while I was raking leaves in the front yard). I could have used some wild turkey after four hours of raking, and I'm not talking fowl.

I have never watched Veggie Tales. And do yourself a favor and don't mention that cartoon to Pembo's DH. He has some definite opinions about that show.

We have lots of deer in our neighborhood. If you recall, there is a powerline easement that runs behind our property. The deer use it as a superhighway of sorts. I find all sorts of "evidence" that the deer have been knawing at the tender shoots on the trees in my backyard. When we used to plant flowers, the deer would often times come by and nibble them down to the ground.

Between the deer, the squirrels, and the chipmunks, we sometimes feel as if we live in a nature preserve.
