Okay, ya'll are cracking me up today with the speed of these pages!!! I really need to work but i can't because I need to see what's happening here!!

Pfishgirl....have fun with the OC!! I used to hate those but then again I liked the extra hours!!

must work, must work, must work

Have a wonderful trip Deb.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATHY!!!!

Nancy I don't know if I can keep up with this pace either.
Beth  doesn't matter to us what sort of mood you're in...just that you're here with us  I'm saying a prayer for the young lady at your church.
Stacy I'll take your sons place if he doesn't want to go :)
Suzanne YAY on getting to visit a different store.

I'll be back later to ketchup with the rest of you. :rockband:

Wow! Finally made it to the end. Had to take notes!

JellyRollsKaren - hugs to you on a rough birthday. Hope today is better!

Kim - thanks for the hug! You're bony chest reminded me of a hug from my mom!

Sherry - Yay!! Happy to hear the baby is doing great!

Kristy - I love your siggie photo. Babies are so cute when they discover thier toes.

Nancy - Great scrapbook room! Will you come to Dallas and make me a quilting room like that? Please?

Stacy - We newbies gotta stick together here. What we really need to do is get some other newbies then we won't be newbies. Maybe we can be promoted to Jr. YaYas or YaYas in training.

Tara - hope your headache is better today.

Suzanne - I may send you a request for Mickey ears. My church is doing a Disney theme for our Spring handbell concert (guess who they put in charge this year?) and we may need some.

Deb - have a great trip!!!

Okay, I think I am all ketchedup! If I missed anything I cry "YaNewbie"

Oh yeah, I did a nekkid dance ritual in the shower this morning and said Ya-Ya! Does that count?

Hi Everyone!!

Have a wonderful trip Deb...I am sooo jealous.....!!

Just came back from having my weekly breakfast datw with my dad - then to the dairy farm for milk (I was good - bought milk and light cream only - nothing from the bakery) - came home and DD was home - she bought me a Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee.....this is shaping up to be a great day!!

Well, DH built it. I was amazed at how fast it got done and then find out this morning he has plans to build his Legos in there  It is MY room!! pout..pout...the purpose was so I could leave everything out, close the door and the cats wouldn't send things flying. Now there will be Legos everywhere....:(

Dance?? 2 Yaya witnesses?? ;)
Check with Liz...she did an awesome dance. :rotfl:

Okay! Susie, you are now OFFICIALLY in charge of starting the ball rolling on a winter DFW DIS meet.

You pick the time and place, I'll help "advertise" it!

Thanks for the sweet birthday wishes, everyone. :flower1:

Happy Birthday Kathy!!! Here's hoping that all your birthday wishes come true.

And thanks for sending some warm Texas weather up this way on your birthday. It was 66 degrees outside at lunchtime. Sherry is right, though. Temperatures are supposed to plummet by the weekend. Ohio. Gotta love it.

My followup visit with the surgeon went well today. I am officially discharged and will only see him again if something in my leg or ankle flares up. I mentioned the swelling in my ankle and he told me that there was a good chance that it won't ever heal completely. I guess I really messed things up in there. Bones have a way of healing, but all the surrounding tissues are not quite so resiliant. I had a feeling that he was going to tell me something to that effect. Regardless, I can walk and the pain in minimal (as long as I remember to take two Advil when I wake up). Things could be a whole lot worse. I don't have to look very far to know that is the case. I asked him to write a prescription for a roll of elastic stockinette so that I can replace my aging compression sock material. He will probably have to fill out a mountain of paperwork, but he agreed to do so and was very gracious about it. He even went searching through his office to see if he had any that he could "give" me, but he came up empty handed. Dr. Helper has been a phenomenal surgeon and caregiver and I feel blessed to have been under his care for these past 11 months.

Gotta get back to work. :charac2:

A vote for a YaYa move cast by TC?! Me too! Always ready for a change. Where shall we go next? Might we stay put but change the title or is it nicer to have the shorter threads? Hmmmm.... so much to think about when considering a move. Such as... should we head to the hills up yonder perhaps for a bit of skiing... or maybe to a dude ranch to... watch some dudes? How about an igloo? Ice would be nice! Right Pam? Good for packing your, uh... "groceries" on.
...how 'bout a Tibetan monastery??!?!?

...don't count as GROCERIES!!!!

My, my, my, y'all have been such a MOTHY bunch!!!

Happy Birthday, Kathy!!

Glad to hear your follow-up went well, John.

Nancy, I say we cheetoh your DH! :teeth: No legos in your room!!

Nancy, tell him to build his own room!!!!!!

John, so glad that you had a good appt with the surgeon. I know what you mean about tissue never healing completely. That's why my knee will never bee the same.

Got busy/side tracked here... with good things though :teeth:

Did you know that if you cry in work one day, the next day people will buy you lunch, bring you gifts, and just be reallly really nice to you? Today, one of my co-workers took me to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch, another gave me a "would a smile help" card and a Pluto Christmas ornament, and two of the attorneys here made a point of walking over to me and making sure I was all right today.

Wow, what attention. All because I couldn't deal with getting a work birthday cake.

Karen

Me, too. I'm ready ::yes::.

And happy birthday (again), Kathy. Looks like you now have 2 threads on the birthday wishes forum. You are so darn loved :teeth:.

Happy Birthday Kathy!!
John thats really good to hear that your ankle is doing well.
JRKaren next time cry and mention Disney a couple of times, maybe those attys will chip in for a trip for you (or atleast a Mickey bar :mickeybar ).
Have fun all those leaving on their trips. We had a trip today but sadly ours was a trip to the doctor to remove the bead Connor stuck up his nose!
The boy is trying to do me in apparently bu stressing me out, lol.
Nancy--what was your dh thinking?? Does he know he will be cut off from all cookies, cakes, brownies, etc that you whip up all the time?? Maybe he was hit in the head with a small piece of sheetrock like that crazy girl from The Apprentice :crazy2:

I'm almost afraid to post here because I think I've killed off two other threads today. :guilty:

So I will quickly say....my carpal tunnel was feeling better until everyone got so mothy and I had to keep up! BTW I finally passed 1,000 posts this morning!!!! It's only taken me 2 years and now I think I've posted more in the last two days than in the months preceding.

Oh, and I found out today that the family gathering for Rick is tomorrow night and then his mother has scheduled a "celebration" of Rick and his life at a local park. Everyone is encouraged to bring pictures and stories of Rick to share. It will be hard but I'm going. The headache that I got rid of will probably be back by tomorrow evening.

Okay, now please someone post after me so i dont' feel like I've killed this thread!!
tara

Oh and this is an EIOPEIOPPE...

The things I do for Tara.....

Now I will be the thread killer..... ;)

 I know tomorrow will be hard for you - but hopefully you will gain some comfort in the happy memories everyone will share.

And Pam, I had to make sure you didn't kill it... I like killing threads ;)

JRKaren, sounds like some sweet co-workers you have there.

Tara  I am sure it will be tough, but you might get some good laughs out of it too. Amazingly I think we had more laughs than crying at my mom's wake.

btw, congrats on 1000 posts!!!!!!
