Hi everyone

We had a big thunderstorm here a while back. Kinda unusual for January (but really cool too - heh). I was a little worried we would lose power but thankfully it stayed on.

JRKaren, short-sheeting I can handle, but the pants stay on! (Nekkid dancing notwithstanding ). Sorry to hear you had a rough time of it at work. I can't say I know what you're going through, but I will say that I'm here for ya.

Elaine, well, I'll carry the youngest banner until we find another young'in. I've almost always been the oldest of my group of friends, so it'll be a nice change for me. I'll post a roll-by-roll update of the pictures sometime Saturday. If we can get through all of them in one day.

Kristy, we used to have to get our buffalo from a farmer's market, but it seems to be catching on. We should be grocery shopping tomorrow or Friday (either that or starve!) so I'll definitely look for you.

snert, snort, ketchup, mothy, eiop, skeered, nekkid....just a few of the wonderful words the Yayas have added to our vernacular!!

Now the me part;
didn't do a darn thing today, well 'cept for the funny one of my girls said today. She is hard of hearing and is a beautiful cocoa colored lady. I had some tootsie rolls to give to the kids and she got really excited. I asked if tootsie rolls were her favorite and she said no that chocolate was. Then she stands up, does her best Paris Hilton pose points to her body and says, "I was just born chocolate". I lost it! She was so cute and said it so naturally!!

Okay...headache coming back so must work..
Hey where is our Bethie? I haven't seen her in days. Did the youngin she works for bury her under all that work? Hey Bethie...come out and play we have new meat...uh I mean new members!!!!

Just wanted to stop in before bedtime and say hi and welcome all the newbies. Been terrible busy at work and oh, so very not happy about it. Just haven't had time to read, much less ketchup. Don't mean to ignore ya'll, but us Elder Ya Yas who are post-menopausal just aren't fun to be around when we're having one of our "days" I promise not to be so anti-social once this mood swings the other way.

One item I can't let slip by, though.........Soooooooo happy to hear the good test results on your SIL and baby, Sherry!! That's been weighing on my mind. And a happy, happy birthday to you!!

Could use some prayers for a sweet 16 year old girl at my church. She is very depressed and tried to "hurt herself" over the weekend. She's all right, thank goodness, and is in the hospital and getting the help she needs.
