Todd, I was thinking the same thing... for a moment I thought I was on the cruise board! Bella is the one I think you were thinking of Wagamama is her username. Yep Jodie, Betty, Marilyn and Bonnie aren't around much... do miss them.

Sherry, I got that MMR booster when I was 16... somehow we totally missed it when I turned 13. I remember that day I also got a tetnus shot... not fun... I was conducting in HS for marching band and boy did it hurt to keep the arms up. Good luck with teh flu shot, I heard they are in short supply now... although I got mine yesterday before that all was announced.

Dave gets them at work for free.....or he has, not sure about this year with the shortage. He will still get one because he has asthma.

Sherry, I am sure that with the asthma, you'll be able to get it for Jonathan at least. Honestly I feel bad knowing about the shortage today... didn't hear a word about it until after I got home and got it yesterday.

I had my first flu shot 11 years ago... before they were so "popular" around here. Actually I didn't know they existed and had to go to a health center far out since hardly anyone kept them in stock. But we were made by my mom's doc to go get one (she was on chemo then). I haven't had one every year since, but if it is free or $5 (Luis' work gives them out for free at health fairs like yesterday, and my work for $5) I usually suck it up and get one. Haven't ever had the flu yet (knock on wood) so I can't say if they are effective for me or not

Nancy, not too keen on changes like that either... the more I spend time here, the more I don't like it.

There were some VERY chatty SAHMs in that crowd and with the page limit on threads at the time, we Ya Yas were moving every couple of weeks, it seemed!! Kinda like this more laid-back feel.

Member cruise next Sept 4-8 Who's with me on this one?? I plan on going. Dh is still thinking it over. 2 oldest will be seniors and taking AP classes so they dont want to miss school. So far its me, matthew, Evan and Connor. I had been thinking about a 2006 cruise but I would much rather do the member cruise.
