Brenda, Thank you once again for all of your hard work! Our weight keeper rocks!
I personally was not a huge fan of the giant thread. I actually like it better now that it is not as active even though that means people have dropped out. It was so hard to keep up with everybody in the giant thread and it felt a lot more impersonal than the last challenge. I think in the future I would like to see a return of teams in some kind of format. I know part of the problem was people dropping out and some of the teams got way too small. There are a couple of ways we could combat that. We could do fewer teams, even if we just had two that would make it more personal than the giant thread. Another thing I have seen on another site was everybody posted on the same thread but was put into teams. This gave you a specific person who could PM you, encourage you in the thread, etc.
All that being said, this challenge has been wonderful and all involved have done a great job! I am always up for helping out. I find that having to help makes me more likely to follow through. On my own I am more likely to drop out, but if I help I have responsibility to stay.
As for this week, I was not a superstar. I gained 1.6 last week. I believe most of it was due to being on my period and constipation related to my stomach issues, although certainly there were some bad food choices.
Now for the good news: I had a second phone interview with the school in Nashville and they are considering me for a position that was not even on the website in addition to the one I applied for. I think that I have a decent shot at this! I also weighed in tonight and lost .6. I didn't totally recoup my gain from last week, but I am going back the right direction!
ETA: Congratulations Vija!!!!

I would like to see the COW come back, even if it isn't scored. I would like to see this thread continue until May 12th and maybe we could adjust our goals or keep our goals until the end of March and then have a six week goal. I would be happy to help with something. I didn't feel that I could before because I wasn't sure how this thread worked but I think I could now.
Glad you're seeing that scale move. The 30 day shred is a tough workout. I don't do too well with the push-ups and jumping jacks, but sweat like crazy through it.

I need to be consistent with my exercise to get back on course.
