Yup, imagine my surprise when I opened my eyes this morning and looked out my window to see about 2 inches of wet, heavy snow on the tree branches. At least the roads are clear. And it's relatively still warm, a balmy 35 degrees.

I've heard some reports about what happened in South Dakota, a "white" hurricane with with snow and winds of up to 80mph. 20 foot drifts in the Black Hills! Lots of people without power! That's scary weather right there.

I'm sure Pete will like the snow at first. Even I usually like the first snowfall. By the time he gets home in January, he'll be sick of it too!
