Ok, I have a question for the day. Remember the first Ya Ya thread and I had a question for each day? Oh you don't. Oh well.

Question: Where did you go for your honeymoon.

Answer: We went splunking(cave exploring) at Mammouth Cave and then went to Cumberland Falls. We camped in a VW Campermobile. Hottest summer. Summer of 80. 102 degrees. On our last day, I laid down the law and we went to a motel. OHHHHHHHH, the soft bed and the hot shower!!!!!

DH and I went to Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, Illinois. We played golf every day. Our best man and maid of honor joined us for golf and dinner one day. (We were past the "ultimate" romantic honeymoon as we were both a little older when we got married). I do remember the first night there, we sat by the windows in the restaurant, had huge lobster tails and could see the fireworks, being the 4th of July.

Well, Marilyn I am an Elder Ya Ya and I could be mistaken but if the younger Ya Yas really respected us Elders someone will name their DD Hannah, just so I am correct.

Isn't that a rule in the Ya Ya Book of Regulations?

Anyway, I don't want anyone to feel they have to share personal info on this thread but would appreciate a PM if there is a petite Ya Ya out there named Hannah........Don't want to get the rubber room ready before I have to.

Betty, no petite YaYa named Hannah here but I do have a very good friend named that in Chicago

As for our honeymoon... we went to WDW. We stayed at Polynesian (concierge lagoon view). All I can say is that it was a wonderful week

Honeymoon--DH and I went to the British Virgin Islands. Back when you had to get on a 10 or 12 seater prop plane in San Juan, and puddle jump over. Had to make 2 landings on dirt landing strips, and we cleared customs/immigrations in an 'office' that was 4 posts, a roof, and a ceiling fan! Then we had to take a boat to get to our resort. Utter bliss. No in room TV, no in room phone, open air (with walls) showers. Snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing. It was great great great. The name of the resort is The Bitter End Yacht Club and Resort. An we would actually like to go back for our 15th, but it is getting REALLY expensive. (can't do this and support my Disney habit)

ACK! NOOOOO!!!! Actually I would love to adopt though!!! I've always thought it would be wonderful to adopt! Brought up to DH just the other day in fact. If I do, and I have the opportunity to pick the sex and name, I'll definitely use Hannah. I happen to love that name. My other girl choice is Chloe. Love that name too!

Sketti--closest I come to Hannah is my neice. Her name is actually Megan, but up until the time they wheeled SIL in to have her C-Section, she was going to be named Hannah, then once they saw her, it was Megan. Sorry.

Beccy, I wish I could could guarentee you a DD. Everyone should have the lovely experience of a DD.......I am from a family of all boys and DD has taken me by surprise. She has been a princess from the day she was born. Should have heard the whining today when I mentioned a WDW trip that I am taking solo. You would have thought that I just stabbed her in the heart........
