What exactly does this tour do? 2 1/2 hrs doesn't seem like a lot to walk through the parks? Website says viewing for a show, dining, and fast pass. Anyone been on this recently and can give more info?
We did this tour last week. We specifically chose that day knowing that it would be extremely busy. Our tour went three hours due to how busy the parks were and we were advised of that upon check in. We had an Ariels Grotto reservation for lunch that we would now risk being late for. They immediately helped us to change the time.
After checking in at
Disneyland, we walked over to California Adventure. We were given some information about the parks, Cars Land, Paradise Pier, rode The Little Mermaid. We stopped by Grizzly River Run and were given FP for World of Colour.
We walked back to Disneyland and visited each land except Tomorrowland. We rode Pirates before we walked back down Main Street. Most of the information was very basic information. How to make dining reservations, how to locate characters, Fastpass information.
When we arrived back at the tour check in location, we were given a package. Inside had FP for Indiana Jones and Star Tours. They had no return time, they were good for all day. You could also chose VIP seating for Pixar Play or Mickey and the Magical Map. We chose the Magical Map. You also received a special pin to commemorate the tour.
In all honestly I think the tour is worth it for the FP and pin alone. We knew all the information, however with the shows and rides we managed to do that day (It was crazy busy. Hyperspace at one stage was well over two hours.
