Hi All,
Amy and I are thinking about having our welcome party on Labor Day (Monday, September 6) at Chef Mickey's. There will be 16 guests at the party. Based on this, we have a few questions:
* When can we find out if there will be firework at the Magic
Kingdom that evening?
* If there are fireworks, where would be a good place to view them? I know that California Grill is great, but I doubt they will reserve a table for me for the fireworks if all we will likely order are drinks. Amy and her family are old-fashioned meat and potato people, otherwise I would just reserve a table for dinner here.
* I though I read awhile back that someone with a group had to eat at an early dinner seating at Chef Mickey's. If this is still the case and there are fireworks that night, what do I do with my guests between dinner and the fireworks?
* With a group of 16, can I book Chef Mickey's via the priority seating number, or do I need to contact someone else?
We are not steadfast in having the welcome dinner at Chef Mickey's, rather it was the first fun place that came to mind. We are looking for a place that is lighthearted and fun so it is a change of pace from the formal dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse the next evening. We are open to other suggestions!
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
