I heard Welcome Home for the first day as a new member of DVC. We signed up today with 260pts at BLT. Looking forward to talking to the extended family this weekend and scheduling a trip for 16 to BLT in March of 2010. Using three years of points out of the box to pay for a GREAT extended family vacation.

Thanks to all on here that post information for newbies to read and learn. I feel confident that I made a great choice for my young family. We have a 5 year old boy, 2 year old boy, and 1 year old girl. I'm sure we will be getting the most out of this membership!

Again, thanks to everyone that responded to posts that I have started and other posts that I gained information to make my decision.

CONGRATULATIONS to you and your family and, of course,

:welcome:party: HOME !!!!

May you enjoy many wonderful DVC adventures in years to come. We call DVC the gift that keeps on giving - it's so great all the possibilities & to take family, friends along as well :grouphug: Our 3 kids are 21,18 & 12 and we'd thought perhaps our eldest two would be bored with going now that they're getting older but they still love it and now have friends join them :thumbsup2

Enjoy :goodvibes

:cheer2:Congratulations and Welcome Home!

I hope you enjoy your membership as much as me and my family do. My children are also older 23,21 & 19 but we still do Disney together once in a while and at other times we book a room for them to take friends.
I tell people that this membership has paid for itself many times over - the only 2 things you can leave your kids that no one can take away from them are their memories and their education. DVC has helped supply those memories.

Congratulations!!! We just paid our down payment yesterday!!!! I have a quick question. How are you using 3 yrs worth of points? What is the UY you are choosing?

Thanks! As for how we are going to use 3 Use Years....

My use year is Feb 1 - Jan 31, which is great as it matches my vacation at work as well. We are in retail, so our fiscal year is Feb 1 through Jan 31. I was just in Orlando 2 weeks ago (boy I miss being there), so I don't know that I'll go back this year.

I'll bank this year's points (260), then I'll borrow from 2011, and use my 2010 points to take 16 people to BLT with a Grand Villa and a Studio, both with MK views.

We are looking forward to that big vacation. Paying cash for that would cost us over $17K, so it helps to justify the DVC.

That is great!!! I work retail too, so I know how that goes!!!!
