I looked at the site and I really don't want to sign up for e-mails. Also the NHL is very unlikely to allow a none corporate owner buy a team. The Green Bay packers will be the only pro team to be owned by a group of citizens.

Well, I didn't get my P4s or P5s but I did manage to snag a pair of P6s at least! Considering how insanely fast they sold, I'm really happy I got those! 8000 people on the waiting list for tickets now!

Lucky you! How did you get them if you had to work? Did you call in sick?

My buddy tried for the 15 minutes that the site was up but we were not able to get any

Believe it or not, I was actually legitimately sick! Scouts Honour! I had been off work for 2 and a half days with a neck problem that I went in to get x-rays for on Thursday. Turns out that my neck pain was a pretty fortunate thing. With how fast the pre-sale was going, my new plan was to use my Ipad to try for tickets right at noon on Saturday while at work (with my bosses approval!). Luckily (sort of), my neck pain forced me to stay home those days and I hopped on my home computer to try for the tickets. I had to try three times, entering in that horrible Captcha thing every time and lucked out with a pair of the P6s. I did get to work today and luckily my boss knows what type of person I am, so he didn't think that was the plan the whole time or something! As much as I wanted the tickets, I wouldn't have stayed home on purpose to try for them. I hate absences!

Well congratulations! Hope your pain in the neck is better . I guess I'll try again in three years. Somehow my trip to Disney this summer doesn't seem so far off now.

Congrats for getting tickets! We tried at 12pm on the second and struck out. The wait list was capped at 8,000... crazy!

I took it hard for a few days but oh well. More money for WDW and we can watch the Jets play in Florida this year.

I think it would be cool if somebody could put up big screens in a public place like the forks or the stadium so fans could watch the first game. Look at the turn out that Vancouver is getting.
