WELCOME BACK ANDY!!!! :) I'm SO glad you had a MAGICal time, but we knew you would!! :) Can't wait to read your trip report!!! Sorry about your glasses though :(

The glasses were supposed to be replaced before we left for the cruise, but, we never seemed to have the time to make an appointment, I'm so glad we didn't, when I realized they had fallen off, I said, "Oh Well, I needed new glasses anyhow." It just made the last day and a half, a little harder to get aound, i.e., my little trip into the ladies room at the MCO Airport!!! LOL!!!

Now, I had you being arrested at the pier:D When you have time to read the beginning of this thread, you will see where I had you arrested! We are glad you had so much fun. Pray for good weather for us when we leave this Saturday. I really pray that this trip will be perfect for Verandah Boy. I want him to enjoy everything DCL has to offer, without any weather problems. I know you will be just as excited for him as you were for yourself. Now, rest yourself so that you will be ready to start typing!

Hey there, Andy!! Welcome back!!Can't wait to read your trip report. Glad to hear you made it home.

My sleep pattern got all mixed up last week, I wasn't going to bed until between 1am and 2am most nights. Here it is 1:35am, and I'm still up!!!

Had such an AWESOME CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got back and turned on the tv to catch a news report about a new discovery the scientists are really excited about.

Apparently, dolphins are even more intelligent than first thought, after one was seen near Disney's private island Castaway Cay yesterday wearing a rather fetching pair of spectacles.

It is thought that in their later years they get a little shortsighted too and have taken to wearing glasses to avoid embarrasing mishaps when answering a call of nature.

By the way, there is absolutely no proof that it was my spoon edging towards Andy's chocolate lava cake. Don't believe the captain he's as blind as a bat!!;)

Ian,

You having ROFLMBO!!!!! And that's saying something since I had a total of about three hours sleep last night!!!

Andy, so glad you had a wonderful time and I kept getting that image from that Movie with Don Knotts....was it The Incredible Mr. Limpit.... where the fish wears glasses and saves the war!!! It was a movie from the 60's I think...part animated and part real life.

Just found this link!!

Hi Andy! Welcome home!! I've read your posts all over the board and your trip sounds truly magical. I'm so glad.

Sorry about your glasses.

I do have a question, though. Have you heard from the Page family? I haven't seen any posts from her in a while. I'm sure everyone is getting very excited.

Again, welcome home! The great thing about these boards is that I feel like I know you, without even having met you! Amazing!

Can't wait for that trip report!

Ursula

Andy, I am crying for you. I know how depressing it is to leave the ship. I hope your first cruise was all that you expected and then some! How WAS that Verandah? We have a verandah room in April, and I cannot wait!!!!

Can I ask you about those t-shirts? Do you make them?

I will be sending the Page Family an e-mail sometime later today, but I haven't heard from them since returning home, I'm sure they are getting really ansty about their cruise coming up.

The funny thing about us DIS'ers that I found out, when we started gathering around the Radisson and on the ship, it seemed like we really knew each other, it was amazing. That's why I say, if you book a Disney Cruise, find out who else is going, we had the most remarkable week with our tablemates, The Parkes Family from England, they are the sweetest people, even though Ian did try to steal some of my lava cake. I have a photo of his hand, holding a spoon, reaching for my cake.

Andy and Hazel,

WELCOME HOME!!!

I was away on vacation this past week and thought of you guys and how much fun you were having. Couldn't wait to get back and read all about your cruise!!! Hope you had a magical time.

We've missed you!

Just be glad he didn't try to take a shrimp.

We might have seen the headline in the Paper:

Englishman loses hand in Shrimp incident on Disney Cruise.

Welcome home again.

The verandah was great!!! My DW and I spent some alone time out there, but generally early in the morning, or later at night. During the day it was quite uncomfortable with the heat and humidity. My DW and I even had a glass of champagne and nibbled on some snacks that were sent to our stateroom. It was truly the most "MAGICal" of any vacation we have "EVER" taken, and I again would like to thank the "Disney Angel In Disguise" for not only what was done for Nate and His Family, but also for Captain Verandah and His Family as well!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what we did to deserve such special treatment during our week at sea, but, we "LOVED" every minute of it. The CM's were all just so amazing themselves, we are looking forward to our future cruises!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost forgot, yes I made the t-shirts for my family.

I think if I hadn't booked another cruise while I was on board, I might be feeling rather blue about now, but knowing we have another cruise to look forward too, I'm still basking in the experience of last week.

Of course it helps by thinking, this time last Sunday, I was doing.....................on the cruise!!!

Jim,

As much as I like my shrimp, it would be a cardinal sin to touch my dessert, especially if it contains anything chocolate, and that warm chocolate lava cake was scrumptious!!!

Now if he reached for my "Rock Shrimp" that would have caused an international revolution!!!

Ok, the anticipation is killing me! You keep talking about the special treatment you received and I want to know all the details! Did someone set up something for your family? Or was it several someones? How did the checkin gal know who you were? Does she read the boards? Details, details......tell all about your surprises...I can't wait for you to type up that trip report!

Patience child, patience, LOL!!!

Tanya does enjoy reading the boards when she can, but she doesn't make any posts. She knew all about Rae and Verandah Man, and was eargerly awaiting our August cruises, I even had my mom take a photo of Tanya and Captain Verandah, she is the kindest person, it was great getting to meet her!!! Hi Tanya!!!

The special treatment will be more detailed in my TR, whenever I can get to typing it in, I'm not very fast at typing, LOL!!!

We did receive special little things delivered to our stateroom during the course of the week, my DW and I were in Awe of the little treats. I don't know how this cruise could ever be topped!!!
