how old is that pic? Total control over VMK was transferred to Disney about a year ago and I was under the impression that the staff became Disney employees at that point.

PS: One requirement for being staff is that your computer MUST be at least 3 years old and crash often.

Ok I see in this pic VMK_ works for VMK QA's work for disney so where do the hosts work from. And what is the role of a VMK_ ? Are they the security group or programmers and QA are they the testers.

And we all Know the hosts well they have the patience of Job. You spend enough time in a room listening to kids saying I want I want PLZ Plz plz, how come plz be my friend etc I am poor I have no home wow how do they ever do it.

uh... moderate? Just teasin, they do the same thing on there like we do here. Just like you would report a post here that might be out of line, and a moderator picks up the report and checks it out. If a problem needs to be dealt with they deal with it.

Like If I were to report someone for using bad language, then my bff VMK_Bubbles would get the report and take a look and see if she thinks an action needs to be taken. If she thinks so then she takes an action (say a ban or go in and warn) and then thanks Grand Master A for being model VMK netizen, and probably gives me a hug and gives me some free rare.

what the Hosts are NOT is cast members. Cast members are park workers. Be they people who play charachters or the guy sweeping up the bathroom. The people who make the movies are not cast members, although they are Disney employees.

What might be a possibility, is that the hosts are per diem workers, meaning they are subcontracted to work on VMK through a thrid party company, like sulake.

I once worked for a company that subcontracted me out to work for Microsoft, while I got paid by the company that hired me, I still worked for Microsoft and was bound by their rules of employment.

Programming doesnt keep the game running It runs on its own.

Programming occurs in a different system altogther. When they have adds they port it over, after testing. Think of this like a game on your computer. What is written is written.

There will be systems people there watching and ready to reboot if need be and backing things up (thats probably done in their offline window).
