Hi all you wonderful technically minded Welcome Board posters! I have a favor to ask you. We have been getting tons of different questions about how to post countdown tickers and get them to show up etc... So far I haven't seen any really complete definitive walk through on how to do it. I would write one buy. . . . .well. . . . . I must confess that for some reason when ever I try to put a countdown in my sig I screw it up the first 2 or 3 or 12 times and have to mess with it to get it to work.
So I am not really sure what I do wrong, I always get it there, but not sure I am the best one to guide people through it.
Would someone here please write me up a step by step "Tickers for Dummies" set of instructions that I can add to the FAQ thread? I will credit your name on it. And this way when someone asks it will be easy to just tell them "Take a look at the FAQ" no matter which step they are stuck on. You can post instructions here or PM them to me.
Also, there are several other things missing from the FAQ thread that I would love to have some input on if anyone wants to tackle them-- particularly all the other ways to add things to a signature-- written step by step.
