I am making welcome bags for my family and my friends...4 adults one child. We already have shirts with our names that i am so excited about. I want to put in glow necklaces and stuff like that...where do I get them??? Thanks! Other ideas would be great too!!!

Do you have a Dollar Tree? I found glow necklaces and bracelets at ours. Somebody else on another thread also mentioned finding them at Michaels in a dollar bin.

Several party places have the glow necklaces, etc. but I think the everything for a dollar stores are the better price. We are doing something similar for a trip that we are taking. We are also doing a scavenger hunt for those who haven't been. There is also a website that has free Disney games like word finds. Also doing some small bags of Goldfish and pretzels. Have a magical trip!! :wizard:

I am making welcome bags for my kids. So far I have an autograph book, pen, Disney fan, Disney fruit snacks, small Dalmation plush. I need some more ideas too.

If you are doing welcome back for your kids. How do you get them to the room without them seeing them? Can you give it to CM at your check in and have them put the bags in the room? It will be nice if it was a gift bag from Mickey and the gang.... instead of Mom. Anyone knows if that can be done.!

:woohoo: I found the glow necklaces and bracelets at WALMART in the toy aisle with the jumpropes and jacks. They were $.88 per pack! My kids really enjoyed having these with us during the parades and at night.

I am doing welcome bags, but more along the lines of entertainment for the plane bags! LOL
I got my dd and my niece the following:
New box of crayons
Mini coloring Disney posters with markers
Mini playing cards
Disney PEZ
Glow in the dark flashing princess necklaces
Tinkerbell erasers
Cinderella pencils (to go with the tink erasers!)
Mini composition book (decorated in WDW style!)

As well as got my dd a mini disney fan, and autograph book.

I've ordered glow sticks on ebay in bulk and found that it was cheaper to puy several dozen than to purchase just a few at a local store. The answer to shopping is always EBAY!

I love doing up goodie bags too. Here are a few more ideas:

goggles
disposable camera
stickers
sun glasses
hats
chap stick
light spinners (from Disney Store)
tattoos
trading pins
coins for penny presses

We are going to give the gift bag to DD the morning we are leaving...and say it's from Tinkerbell. That way she has some of the stuff (Disney coloring books, etc) for the plane.

A while back someone posted a website for glow necklaces and sticks and stuff. Illuminationz.com. I ordered 50 glowsticks for 19.99 in assorted colors. They have a 2 year shelf life so I can use them for 4th of July and other nighttime acctivities. We went to an amusement park yesterday and I took a couple with me and that way during the fireworks at the end I didn't have to buy any because the kids were happy with the ones they have. Anway, they have great prices and they have fast delivery.

We did this for our 3 kids, mostly for the drive down. We went to the Dollar Tree store & found several travel games, mini fans, glow bracelets, snacks, stickers, tattoos, mini electronic games.

I think the Disney pins are a cool idea. Oh & Disney dollars are always welcome!

I LOVE www.illuminationz.com! I've used them twice! We ordered the bracelets because they are cheaper. But all of their stuff is MUCH CHEAPER! Check it out! We gave them to people around us at the parade, etc. They really do ship twice. Seriously, we have used them so many times. 4th of July, birthdays, etc. I actually just let them have 4 or 5 at the parades. lol.

Also, check out your local movie rental places. Our Hollywood Video has Disney candys, things like princess gummy's, mickey, tigger, pooh, even Pirates something. I'm going to grab some of these to take and give.
Thanks so much for the ideas!

I found Cars Pez at my local Dollar Tree yesterday, along with cars pencils, pens, erasers and folders. I bought several of the Pez to put in DS's Disney goodie bag. I would think that depending on the age of the folks that some of the little ones would like the fruit gummy treats in different Disney characters. I have seen them in Lion King, Princesses, Cars and Winnie the Pooh at my Walmart.

All of your ideas are great. I guess the mom in me says to add the little trial size bottles of purell or some kind of hand soap.
