I'm sure this has been discussed before, but a quick search of the boards didn't turn anything up. So what's the weirdest/oddest thing that you've seen or heard at WDW?

I was at DHS during marathon weekend in 2014 and had just gotten a BBQ Slaw Dog from Fairfax Fare. The tables were all full and I was solo for this portion of the trip, so I ended up sitting on the side of one of the planters - kind of on the edge of the smoking section behind the restaurant. As I was taking my first bite of lunch, I heard the unmistakable sound of flowing liquid and not the kind from a faucet or fountain. I looked up and there is kid, probably 8 - 10 years old, standing behind the bushes relieving himself. Now I'm no prude and have no problems with this sort of behavior while walking in the woods, but COME ON! Not in the middle of the park when there's a bathroom less than 50 yards away.

Yeah, I'd say that was a tad inappropriate. Omg...

I saw a thread like this a few years ago and it contained some real doozies. The strangest I've seen was mild compared to some. Happened at EPCOT I think. We were sitting by some fountains that sprayed water and lots of kids were playing around getting wet. A woman next to me stripped both her daughters down to their birthday suits in the middle of everyone so they could change into dry clothes (and they really weren't in any hurry to get dressed, lol). The girls were probably between 6-8. As a mother, I couldn't care less about seeing a naked kid, but there were a lot of people around. I just think it was weird and a little creepy for the girls sake. The mom should have taken them somewhere private or to the bathroom.

Many years ago I saw 4 college age girls pick up Mickey Mouse - two holding him under the arms and two holding his legs to pose for a picture. I guess security was a little more lax in those days. I don't think that would even happen now.

Mine doesn't exactly rise to that level, but probably once a trip I see the cranky kid and the red-faced parent either yelling or growling through clenched teeth : "we are at Disney World! Knock it off and have fun RIGHT NOW!"

Last October a mother brought her little boy in the first alcove before you head under cover in line at the Little Mermaid to relieve himself. When they walked by everyone to catch up, I was the only one who spoke up. She just ignored me and got back in line.

We were once in line with our kids waiting to meet Susie and Perla behind the castle at MK and a guy walked up behind us "eating" a waffle sandwich from Sleepy Hollow. I say "eating" in quotation marks because it was more like he was making love to it, ecstatic noises and grunting and all. LOL! My husband was so taken aback by it. I thought it was hilarious.

In DHS, while eating at Backlot Express, I walked in the restroom to see a woman had her school aged daughter relieving herself in the sink. I just stopped in shock. Especially considering there were open stalls! It was a choice, not an emergency. Something to think about the next time you go to the sink to wash your hands.

At the Casey Junior Splash area I have seen a few kids running through buck naked. I changed DS on the planter nearby but discreetly and he was 2! He wasn't running around WDW buck naked playing. That took me aback a little.

Nice!

I saw a kid doing this at our zoo. His mom must have told him to pee off the ledge of the bridge because she was laughing about it.

What she didn't realize is the kid never took his business out of his pants, so he was just in pee position whizzing right in his shorts, all down his legs, and into his shoes!

I saw that kid walking around in the same outfit hours later. Some people are just freaking disgusting.

I try not to look at people in Disney. I don't want to see something I can't unsee!

This pretty much goes for most large gatherings I encounter.

I see that most every trip.....I'm usually the one doing it!! Why can't two siblings just enjoy being at WDW without having to pester and aggravate each other?? Grr.

The grossest thing I've ever encountered was a woman's age (I.e. old enough that gravity is now our enemy) in a freakin thong with her hubby and two teen kids in line right in front of us for the family raft ride at TL. I had to look right at her flabby white cheeks for 20 minutes. My kids were completley heebed out. Nobody needs to see that. Blech.

I wish I could remember one! I love these threads!

Same goes for the CM threads, they come out with some rippers, the stuff those poor CMs have to see!

We were at the kiosk by Jungle Cruise and saw these two kids walking towards the ride around the ages of 8 and 10.The wait time was about 20 minutes. It was in the middle of the day, very hot and kind of crowded day.
They stopped and their mom caught up with them, I'm guessing it was their mom.
The mother looking all hot, sweaty, and frustrated yells( I mean yells loudly) at the kids as she is walking away "I'm tired of this f***ing Disney World!" She just walked away and left them. They started to follow walking far behind her and I heard one of them say she is such a dumb a**. I kind of felt disgusted and sorry for them at the same time. I felt bad for the kids because they just wanted to ride Jungle Cruise, and disgusted that they are being taught to talk like that by their mother. I'm guessing it was their first trip to Disney with no touring plans :sad2:.

I am partially responsible for one of the grossest things I have ever seen....and I would like to take this time to admit my embarrassing moment and offer an apology if the person I "assaulted" happens to be reading this!!

It was the end of May 1996....I was very pregnant with my daughter, and was waiting on the boat to Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately my breakfast didn't agree with me, and I projectile vomited all over an oriental gentleman in a tour group. I was mortified, he was humiliated, and because of the language barrier, I could not apologize appropriately.

As if that I wasn't enough, I encountered this gentleman in the park 8 sweltering hours later.....still wearing the same outfit. That would be the grossest thing I have ever smelled in a park.

If he happens to be reading this, 19 years later....I am sorry!!!!

Christmas Eve last year. Country bear jamboree lobby. Woman breast feeding her infant. No cover. Just all boob. I'm all for breast feeding, but just a simple cover.
I'm not going to get into the Breastfeeding debate, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy eating with a cover over my face.
Boobs are for nourishment, not s*xual pleasure. The more we tell people to "use a simple cover" the more we sexualise feeding our children.

Rutro, about to start a hullabaloo here.
No hullabAloo necessary. Just saying I can't go topless in the parks. I'm fine with breast feeding using a cover or in a baby care station. This was in the lobby of an attraction. She just whipped it out in fron of everyone. Children that were not hers included.

@mgentry210 See? Hullabaloo. I'm with you on the boob thing though. I don't think it should be illegal, god forbid that. But I do think it's rude. This sort of falls under that whole "I don't agree with what you say, but I'll die to defend your right to say it" sort of things.
