I received 6 emails from Southwest RR claiming that I had booked flights with reward points, then crediting back the points, etc. Now, I did book these particular flights back in July but I haven't made any changes since. The bottom line is that my confirmation #'s are the same as the July conf #'s and the points are the same but should I be concerned that there was some kind of activity that I didn't initiate? I would freak if the flights got cancelled because the price/points are quite a bit more now. Should I contact Southwest?

Did you purchase during the 50% off sale? That day people were charged multiple times for one trip. You could just now be refunded the points if there was a problem.

I did purchase during that 50% off day and my credit card was charged an additional 12 times. I received all the confirmation emails and then all the cancellation emails as well.

Did the price of the flights go down and did you "rebook" to get a lower price?

I had the same xact thing happen today but caught what was happening after I got emails about two of my kids flights but not the other there of us. It looks like some how our flights to Orlando in January were reversed during the reservation process so it showed that we wee on the same flight numbers going from Orlando to Pittsburgh (when they should have been Pittsburgh to Orlando). I checked again and it looks okay now.

If you would feel better calling, then do so. Generally Southwest's customer service reps are GREAT and can help you with any concerns.

I've had my account look a little "cluttered" before when I've cancelled, but the bottom line was always correct, so I never worried about it. :goodvibes
