This is exactly what it says...its in the Swan Resort Fact Sheet under "Is there anything special for kids?"
Children's Menus - All hotel restaurants offer special children's menus except for Shula's Steak House where parents are treated to complimentary babysitting while dining.
I'm imagining a staffed playroom or something similar.... Of course, this would be perfect for us...kids nearby but the chance for an enjoyable meal....so its probably too good to be true...LOL.
We can't use the kids' clubs because dd is only 3.
Lesley,
Just a word of advice from someone who has dined at Shula's (and is not at all a football fan)- go there!! The food is absolutely delicious, you will not be disappointed! Don't let the football theme scare you out of trying the restaurant.
hi: i agree! dh and i finally ate there last fall (we've been going to wdw since 87), and it is great! it did take us a bit of time to "waddle" back to bwv afterwards though.
If you can work out the babysitting thing Shula's it's well worth it. Blows ALL the steakhouses on property away. Also, not caring for football all that much I don't think you notice the decor unless you are trying!
I 've looked at the YSH and haven't posted. Here is my take. Shula's is a la carte and the portions are HUGE!!!!!!!! Sides and appetizers can be split. Did I mention the portions are huge??? IMO, it is no more pricey then YSH and the quality is 100 times better. There is no childrens menu and the quote a $10 plate splitting charge but I have been told by Management that will not charge that to a child. Here is a link to the menu on the Shula's site. Look at the size of the portions. WDWIG has the prices. YSH fell off of our radar a few years ago. I just don't think you get the quality for the money there.
