Weird request - Resort parking pass

Changing colors based on dates would be of limited use anyways, since guests do not all stay during a particular Sunday-Saturday (or whatever) period, unless they then had to re-issue them each time they changed to guests who span the period, which would just be more of a hassle.

I can see hand-written passes done when for whatever reason (usually technical), they couldn't print them, like during the major "Lilo" resort system upgrades in 2010. We got our parking pass (we did online check-in, so all that was pre-printed early in the day), but they couldn't give us our KTTW cards for some reason. Fortunately, we had our tickets already in hand.

And DW reminded me...when we drove in to Boardwalk at the end of June, the guard actually handed us our parking pass. Not sure if that's new, or specific to Boardwalk - maybe they figured they didn't want to make us walk all the way back to the car in the middle of nowhere to put the parking pass in... :)

Proving your spouse wrong means you loose : )

Yes, I have lost a lot and so has she...

We just got back and haven't taken it off our windshield yet. It's definitely white...nothing fancy or anything.

Maybe some printer-smart CM put a few sheets of blue in the bottom of the paper tray to alert her that the printer was running out of paper...?

Yep it is white printed on plain old printer paper. Maybe he is thinking about the fact that your blue KTTW card gets used to open the gate arm to the resort and is confusing that with the parking pass.

It's white. I can san it in tonight if you'd like.

Thank you for all your responses, I know it's white but for him seeing is believing. FigmentChick if you would be so kind to scan it for me so he can "see" it that would be awesome!

Actually you are both right. On our last trip to BWV, the one the guard gave us was green. The front desk gave us another one in our packet, it was white.

Ours have always been on white paper, why do you need a "scanned" copy?

If you read the earlier posts, someone offered to scan one and send it to the person to prove its validity.

Sorry to go against the majority but we went to ASMovies Sept 2011 and it was printed on blue paper with black text ... I might still have it!

I don't think there is any 'rule' with Disney, it just gets printed off the front desk printer which most of the time will be filled with white paper .... but every now again, like in non-disney offices, you run out of white so just bung in any colour paper as long as its the right size.

Almost all of our trips have been onsite with rental cars. I've had blue before, but it is usually white. One trip they gave me two - blue from the guard shack, white during check in.

This has really got me thinking. If you'd asked me without providing any suggested options, I would have sworn up and down that the parking pass we received at BLT on our last trip (the only trip where we had a car) was light blue. Now, I'm starting to second guess myself. Hmmm....

Okay since the question has now been answered and an offer has been made. This is now a personal matter between the two posters and should be conducted via PM.
The thread is now closed.
