Weird question

I was just wondering, I am planning on going in 2005 but me and DW were talking and we want to do a 4 night in March during her school break. Due to there being five of us we would need to book two rooms( to much $ for cat 4 or better right now) If when we get to the terminal and they have suites available for upgrade would we be able to pay to go up to say a cat 3 in exchange for our 2 rooms and the extra cost or does Disney only exchange 1 room for an upgrade. I know it sounds weird but I would be happy staying in 2 inside rooms but if the oppurtunity arises I would gladly pay for the upgrade. Also from reading the boards it appears to be a lot less to pay for an upgrade when available at the terminal then to book them now.

That's not a weird question. As long as you book both of the rooms in your name, you can ask for an upgrade. You could also ask at the time of your reservation, to be put on a "wait list" for an upgrade. You would pay the difference, either way, but being put on the wait list lets DCL know that you're interested in moving up. And it does tend to be cheaper when you get that upgrade closer to cruise time.
