Does anyone know what kind of root beer does Disney World serve? I am pregnant and can't have caffeine or aspartame so if I know what kind I can look it up ahead of time.

I am not totally certain (since I only drink Diet Coke and the Light Lemonade from among the offerings at WDW), but based on personal/professional experience with Coke venues, it is likely to be Barq's if any.

Barq's is more commonly served on fountains with Coke products than the other Coke-bottled brand (A&W). And unfortunately, Barq's does contain caffeine.

Sprite is the only offering at WDW I can think of off the top of my head which does not contain either caffeine or aspartame.

In January our experience was that restaurants that offered root beer served Barq's

Sprite is the only caffine free soda available at WDW. I too am caffine free and it was difficult not having my caffine free Pepsi.

The orange drink (Fanta?) has caffeine? I know they have it there, but I didn't think it had caffeine. Maybe I'm wrong.

DD can't have cafine either and I asked a few months ago because in canada only cola soda can have caffine and here is what I got

They had Powerade for the mugs at Pop Century, and it was sold in bottles in the parks. HTH!

According to this, Fanta does NOT have caffeine, Barq's root beer does.

OP - the frozen lemonades at Disney World are really good. Makes a great break from the Sprites. I also freeze water bottles and have one of those during the day.
