Weird question about dining plan

Ok, I am def. doing the dining plan on my trip BUT I was wondering if anyone knows if I could pay for it with my disney reward dollars? See, the four of us are planning on the basic dining plan and I would love to surprise them with the premium plan -- but the only way I can afford it (and justify it) is if I used reward dollars.

Anyone know?

i used a combo of reward dollars, disney dollars, & disney gift cards to pay for the DDP recently, no prob
