Can my mother (or I) use a Disney PIN code (it was surfaced mailed to her) for a one night stay that was addressed to HER address but in my DHs name (DH and I live in the same town but different address)? DH will not be going to disney with her but I will be.

Any thoughts on this would be really appreciated.

Thank you

You can call in check but I have received pin codes in the Ex's name at my email and snail mail address (where he NEVER lived) and wasn't able to use them, previously. Last time I chekced was about 2 years ago. I just got another one in my email last week (we have been split for 3+ years) and I emailed Disney guest relations to have him removed from my account again and asked if I could use the pin but I havn't heard back from them yet.

Call Disney and tell them it is your DH, but your MIL's address. Ask if YOU can use it, even without him travelling. If the first CM says no... call back later and see if you get a second CM. This is one of those "sticky" ones that you never know how they might answer.

I don't think you will be able to use it (yourself I mean) but your mother may be able to use it.
Honestly, the only way you are going to know for sure is by calling them and asking. I have read many times that people were not allowed to use PIN codes under someone elses name even if it came to their address. I have read some people are able to use it regardless of the name as long as it comes to their address...so who knows? Not sure about it being in your DHs name and him not going on the trip...that might be a tough one to get them to ok...I would call a couple of times and see what happens.
Good luck! :wizard:

Do you think she might have a better chance at using the PIN if she just has her Mom call and ask to book the trip using a PIN that came to her address? Take herself out of the picture while trying to book it? Where it is neither her name or address and her DH isn't traveling, I am thinking that would be tougher to get them to allow it.
