Weird OKW Question...

When you arrive, via DME, how do you go about getting to your room??

I've already done online check-in and since our plane lands at 11pm, I am confident that we will have a room ready by the time we arrive at the resort. We will have a manageable amount of luggage (a backpack and a spinner bag for each of us) so we can walk a short distance without too much trouble, but can we get on a bus? I don't want to get on a bus that is going to a park, just an internal bus, if they even have one at that hour. It could be almost 1am by the time we arrive at the resort so I don't even know how late the internal buses run.

They do have the big golf carts that transport people and their luggage to their villas! There's a smaller staff at 1am but they can accomodate you.

You get the DME bus at the airport, it will take you, and your luggage to OKW HH area where you check in. After you check in, bell services will haul all of you and your luggage to the unit. DO NOT use the yellow bag tags as you will arrive to late for the baggage service. Just use carry ons or pick up you bags in baggage claim and take them to the DME bus.

We are all checked in already. Assuming that we receive our room-ready text, or otherwise I should be able to get our room number in my MDE app, should I just go straight to Bell Services when we get off the DME bus? We do travel very light and each of us only have 2 bags (a backpack and a 22" spinner) so we can easily manage our luggage ourselves. I assume most folks will go to the front desk, but I really don't see a need to do that. We have our MagicBands (which will hopefully work) and we are not heading to the parks until noon the next day so I have plenty of time in the morning to head down and take care of anything that might need to be resolved. My primary objective is to get to the room as quickly as possible because I know the kids will be pooped.

You should be about the only ones in the lobby area at 1 am. So a quick check to make sure your MBs are set up may be worth a few minutes.
If your room is close, you can walk, but unless you have HH area booked it will most likely be a bit of a walk. Bell service will be quick to get you 'delivered' to you unit, no cost for the ride. Have a great trip.

OKW will provide a golf cart and driver to take to your room and then when you leave you also can request someone to pick you up. Love OKW.
