Hey all! DH, DS2, and I will be staying with our in-laws in a 2 bdrm in June. Will my toddler have a problem with taking a bath in a jacuzzi tub? He LOVES bathtime and it's not like I'd turn on the jets or anything. Just wondering if it's comfortable, etc....

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with little ones and these fancy tubs!

It is deep but other than that, he should have fun. If you find it is not doable, you can use the regular tub in the 2nd bedroom

i wouldn't see why. He will probably think it is an giant indoor swimming pool. just watch the water level and everything will be great.

We have a jacuzzi tub in our house and that is the preferred bathtub for the kids!! They have been taking baths in their since each one turned one. It is like a little water park for them!

Do be wary of the jets though! My youngest is 3 and does not like it if the jets are turned on.

Which resort are you staying at? The Jacuzzi at OKW is large, and might be difficult for bathing a small child, but as others have said, they will LOVE it! We have had guests with kids who put their swimsuits on and used the Jacuzzi like a pool! We have a large one like that at home too, and the grandkids do the same thing!

It will be fun for him, maybe difficult for you unless you get in with him as it is hard to get out of or reach over to bath him.

We had no problem with DS4 & DD2 in the jacuzzi. Just do not turn on the jets if the water level is below them, heard it makes quite the water launch :rolleyes1

The OKW tubs are very wide and deep. He should love it since it will seem like a pool to him, but I agree with Dean in that it would be hard to reach him.

Be prepared to stand on your head to reach him! My little guy (20 months) loves the "big tub". Watch pulling him out too, they are slippery little buggers and it's hard to get a good grip on them to lift them up and over the high sides of the tub.

You can get in the tub with little ones if the reach is too long. With a big deep jaccuzzi this works pretty well.

When our DS was in that age range, he was not at all comfortable with the jaccuzzi tub.

We ended up buying an inflatable bathtub and putting it in the jacuzzi. It worked OK in terms of putting DS more at ease.

Ours was a rubber ducky one that we found for ten bucks at Target.
