Am I the only one that has weird Disney Quirks? I have been to Disney World about 13x with my family and have nothing but the best of memories. My dad has since passed in 2010 and many things I remember doing with him that I have to do. Some are very vivid and weird. I'm not too prideful to post these weird things that I have to do to make the trip seem complete....

-Have a drink at the Polynesian bar outside O'hanas. We had a drink during our last Magic Hours we experienced

-Sit and relax by the windows at Contemporary overlooking Bay Lake for a few minutes

-Have lunch at Cosmic Rays. For some reason, we always stopped here for a quick bite when I was a kid

-Ride the PeopleMover 3x in a row to unwind and relax

-Watch the Electric Water Pageant...I can remember this as a kid outside the Polynesian

-Ride Soarin....no matter the wait. My dad's favorite ride

Just so many vivid memories. This is what makes Disney great...it ties a generation to another generation of fun....

My first thought was, "I don't have any Disney quirks" then I remembered that I have to buy cotton candy on my way out of MK. Can't wait for that cotton candy in December.

It's only weird if you think it's weird. Oh, wait......
We drive, must make Dennys in Savannah first day.
Taco Salad at Pecos Bill
Train around MK
I'm sure my children have many more

I always have to get Dole Whip and a Mickey head rice krispy treat. As a family, we always do breakfast at 1900 Park Fare to see Mary and Pooh. I don't have weird family quirks but many fond memories of my visits with my grandpa, who has now passed. I think of him when I do attractions or visit places that I visited for the first time with him.

I kind of wish I have gone enough to develop "weird quirks". The past two times we have gone, the HM has been our first ride. I will try to continue that tradition on our next trip. Oh! And we have had ice cream or some kind of dessert as a meal- either lunch or dinner. Maybe I'll continue that, too! :p

All of a sudden, we just HAVE to eat Mickey's head. Whether it's a waffle, ice cream treat, pretzel, rice krispie...we don't care! How deranged. But yeah, it's not a trip for us unless we consumed at least one Mickey head a day. Poor Mickey.

I have to have breakfast at CP and TH every trip!! I have to have dinner at Cm that starts with arriving about 90minutes to 2 hrs early so we can sit at the bar right outside it and lounge in the comfy chairs and have a drink or two. Enjoy the view and chill. I think that's it....

We always take a picture with our kids by the water wheel at POR and one of just the kids by the topiary in CP. Dinner at Akershus, CP and Sci Fi. End our trips with MK as our last park.

An unfortunate tradition for our family is that my youngest DS always gets sick on our third park day. Even if we take a rest day prior it's always the third park day.

Almost too many to list, but Y&Y is our must do, Lazy River in the afternoon, pictures of animal rear ends on Kilimanjaro Safari, matching t-shirts...Now I need to plan a trip!

We always start our vacation in MK and end it with AK. Always have to buy a stuffed animal at AK for DD to help wildlife federation. Also have to buy something stitch for other DD.

Crystal Palace breakfast, HM every time we set foot in MK, Cupcakes for breakfast at DHS from Starring Roles, Strawberry Shortcake for breakfast at Sunshine Seasons right after Soarin', Biergarten for lunch. Christmas ornament is always my souvenier, Disney Quest-sad that Sept will be our last time :(

And now for the corny, odd, touchy feely ones- At the beginning of the trip I have my moment of complete happiness once we are on DME at the airport-I know right then that we have nothing but a week of Disney ahead. We "leave" our cares and worries at the train station when we enter MK by touching one of the stones as we enter--funny we seem to forget about them on the way out. We all hold hands at Wishes. I'm giddy and happily teary at the end of Fantasmic! when Mickey pops up on top of the mountain. As we are leaving each park for the last time we say goodbye and love ya' to the park-so silly!!

MK day we get in just to soak in the magic. Always get a reservation for Crystal Palace before park opening. AK first full day to get it over with. Spaceship Earth first ride at Epcot. Always get a year tshirt and towel.

Ummmm I'm sorry to be the one to tell you if you don't already know but that's been cut from the menu. I was pretty upset when I found out.

WHAT???? I didn't know this. We didn't stop there this past trip, but every other prior to this we did and always got this. Do they still have it at Tortuga Tavern?

We always start at Epcot and ride Spaceship Earth, twice if we can stroll right back on it. Then we leave and do something that we had already planned. This was our first ride on our honey moon.
