I used to attend WW...actually a lifetime member. Time to go back!

Can I attend more than one meeting a week? I think I remember it's OK, but that you can't weigh in more than once a week?? But do you have to pay for more than one meeting?

Also, a friend of mine may join at a location near her own home, since she lives a distance away. I'm thinking that maybe every 3 weeks or so, we'd meet up at a different location (then go out to lunch ;)), somewhere between both our locations. How would WW handle that, without our paperwork there? Or, is that not OK to do?

TIA

I am a returnee to WW after a 10 year binge. Life has changed and for the better if you ask me.

I know you can do more then one meeting a week as there is one memeber of my group that goes to a Sunday meeting and a Thursday morning meeting. There is also a member of my group that travels a lot and goes to a meeting in every city/state she is in.

If you're lifetime I'm not sure if you'll still pay, but if you're overgoal and you do have to pay I suggest you go to the WW site and buy a monthly pass. Print it out and take it to every meeting you go to. My only suggestion would be to try and weigh in at the same one once a week. Call my crazy, but I've got this thing about scales not all being equal. The worst to me is when you know you've done everything right and then for whatever reason need to use a different scale and you show a gain for that week.... I've had that happen and I know it's wrong but it has sent me into a down spiral.

From one Mary Anne to another.... GOOD LUCK... Join us on the WW thread, they are a really nice group of people.

Oh they also have a thing that you can now skip getting weighed at the meeting if you know you've gained but really want to attend the meeting. I think you can do that once a month too.

Like I said WW has changed in the past 10 years and I'm really finding the changes are good and the program is better and more flexible.

I'm a WW leader in Ohio. We do allow you to go to more than one meeting and you don't have to pay. But you just weigh in at one. You don't have to stand in line at the other one you attend. Just go right in and sit down. If someone questions you just say you already went to a meeting.

As for attending another area, you just have to have your little booklet. THen we fill out a visitor slip for our records. It happens all the time here as we are a college town & people come and go constantly.

As for the lifetime thing, there are now lifetime committment plans & monthly passes. I would check out both to see which one is cheaper.

I love all the new changes, too, by the way. You'll have a great time, especially with a friend!
