I'm around 200 lbs and womens size 14/16, so I'm a bit chubby, but not huge. I was just wondering if I'll have any problems fitting on rides at Universal. I've heard that fitting on Hulk and Dueling Dragons have more to do with chest size, so I don't think I'll have too much problem there because I usually wear a ladies size L shirt, but I'm worried about the Mummy because I know it has more to do with how big your thighs are.

I'd love to hear from anyone around my size or bigger. Were you able to ride everything? Any bad size related experiences? Any suggestions or just comments to ease my mind would be wonderful. I'm going to Orlando for the first time ever, and when you have a weight problem you tend to let it ruin your trips! Thanks so much! :)

hi bella, just wanted to let you know from my experience,,,i am 6'9" and weigh around 300lbs and so i have alot experience with being worried about fitting on rides, i am also a preferred pass holder at universal and have rode everything several dozen times. what you are saying about chest size is valid(my waist is not too big but i have been training for 16 years and my chest and arms are quite large). Hulk has the modified seating(i think rows 4 and 6) but that kinda sucks since you have to ride it up front. I can fit any row(hulk isn't too bad and my wife is trained to push me in while i pull but hulk is definately one of the roomier rides). Yes mummy is a bit of a problem but the last row of the cars is much roomier and they will probably seat you there. It's an amazing ride from any seat so don't worry. The toughest one is dueling dragons which i used to have to use the modified row but that all depends on how much cardio i've been doing(haha). It is really dependent on chest size as the restraints go over your chest and if you are only a large(i'm an xl or 2xl depending) you won't have any problems. The rides are definately made for bigger people in orlando, hope that helps. Have a great time and don't stress it, ted

No worries...

I am a 13/14 and my mom is an 18 and we have no problems at all on any of the rides. You will be fine:thumbsup2

Universal did a good job of designing their rides to accomodate "pooh sized" people.

I dont think you will have any problems! I am 5'4" , size 14/16 and dont have any problems on any of the rides. I have actually lost 40 lbs, so I can tell you that sizes 20 and up is where people start having problems. :)

I am a larger sized woman (5'8 and wear a 20W) no problems on the Mummy at all!! I don't go upsidedown :upsidedow so not too sure about the coasters. I fit comfortably on all the other rides as well.
