How much above the weight limit do you go? I have a 4.5 yo who is almost 50 pounds and 47 inches talll...am debating on whether or not to buy a cheaper umbrella stroller (with weight limits around 50-55 lbs) to use on WDW trips for next 2 years. Definitely need a stroller as I am single and just the two of us are going.
Thoughts.....

I think it could still hold but maybe heavy to push since those umbrella ones are kinda wimpy and might not be very comfy. Maybe try it in the store and push around with your kid in it? See if they find it comfy?

We rented the city gt which was very sturdy and had a weight limit of 65 pounds.

I would look into a cheaper lightweight stroller. They are sturdier and more comfy than an umbrella stroller.

I'd rent. Even if you need one next year, you probably won't need one between now and then.
