Is there a weight limit on our suitcases/carryons? Are ther certain dimensions that I can't go over? This is our first time ever flying? Can I take my TomTom and disposable razors on the plane?

There typically is a weight limit for checked baggage, and a dimensional limits for both checked and carry-on. I would go to your airline's web page to see what the limits are.

TomTom -- yes. Disposable razor -- probably, but you never know.

Both items are fine.

May I suggest that you spend some time at www.tsa.gov (or www.catsa.ca if you are from Canada) and your airline website for the most accurate information.

And if you are from Canada, if you are flying on a Canadian airline (West Jet, Air Canada) there is a weight limit for carry-on bags.

Sometimes is sucks to be a Canadian...

2nd largest country in the world, sitting on all that oil, natural gas, water, and other valuable resources and a potential powerful player in the future world order as resources become more scarce... but can't bring nail scissors on the plane, unlike the rest of the world :rotfl:
