Weekly Check-In Thread???

Did I miss it somewhere? I think it usually starts on Sunday.

Well, if none was started, here goes:

I lost 2 lbs this week for a total of 39 lbs and, 1 lb from a new clippie! :sunny:

Anyone else want to "check-in"?

Well, I'm here to check in, even if no one else is. :p

I'm down 3 pounds this week, which means it's time for another round of the CLIPPIE DANCE! :hyper: I'm only 4 pounds away from that super-cool 100 clippie... and SOOOOOO close to Onederland, just one measly pound to go. I'm going to weigh in on Saturday, since I'll be on vacation next week, and hopefully I'll make it before I leave! I can't believe I've actually made it this far, because reaching Onederland and losing 100 pounds seemed almost impossible 9 months ago - and now I'm almost there. :teeth:

This week went well. The extra distance I added to my morning jog definitely helped things along, and I made quite a few good choices at various restaurant meals, as well as a family picnic on Sunday. I tried one of the new Enlightened Smoothies at Jamba Juice (Mango Mantra), and it was pretty tasty! Definitely not the worst snack I could have while at the mall, that's for sure. :rolleyes:

I'm a little nervous about my vacation to Iowa next week - we've left a lot of our plans to be decided on the fly (even where we're staying some nights!), so I can't really plan my meals too far in advance. I'm just planning to take it day by day, meal by meal, and make the best choices I can. My goals for the week are: (1) exercise every day, either jogging or Curves, (2) drink water, shoot for 100 oz/day, (3) eat smaller breakfasts, instead of "vacation" breakfasts (i.e. HUGE) every day, and (4) try to have some healthy snacks around (veggies, fruit, yogurt). I'm confident that it will go well, but I have to make sure I've got the right mind set going in.

Checking in! I have definately recommited this month, I know where I want to be and I am going to find a way to get there!!! ::yes:: I have been having ups and downs weight wise, I was 140-142 all weekend and this morning at 141 ( I did have a naughty dessert with low-carb brownies, ice cream, and caramel sauce for Mother's Day dessert so 141 is fine with me). I am on day 2 of Atkins induction, yesterday went very well, but today seems harder so I am taking it hour by hour resisting sweets and yummy carbs that the kiddos get to eat but so far so good! My exercise is planned out for the week as long as rain doesn't get in the way.
Sunday 45 minutes Tae-bo (done)
Monday 4 mile run (done)
Tuesday 45 minute Tae-bo
Wednesday 45 minute Tae-bo
Thursday 4 mile run
Friday 4 mile run
Saturday 4 mile run or Tae-bo depends on time limitations possibly going for a bit more mileage this day as I need to start tacking on extras.

Hopefully all will go as planned along with some renovating we are doing on the house (think of me as I strip 45 year old wall paper this weekend lol)

I maintained this week. I think it's because I have been drinking diet coke, and it has caused me to retain some water! :hyper: So this week I am going to try really hard to just drink my water ::yes:: and see what happens!
 
It's been a pretty good week for me. I am down 2 lbs. and 2.5 inches. I'm starting to hope I get a clothes store gift certificate for my birthday next week because my shorts aren't going to stay up much longer!! :bounce:

My goals this week are to keep up my water intake (I was slipping the last few days) and to increase my walking so that I am out walking everyday.
