I needed a car for 11 days. The 2 week rental was less expensive than the 11 day rental, even after fees & taxes. The 4 extra days were more expensive than the discounted weekly rate. If I rent for 2 weeks and return the car early, will I have any problems? Will the company give a refund. Has anyone ever tried this? Is it worth it ?

I am not sure if they will credit you based on the weekly rate or adjust it to charge for th daily rate for the other 4. I believe if you are there 5 or more days you qualify for the weekly rate, so if the difference would pay for one more day at the hotel, maybe that would be a solution(lol).

If it's less expensive to rent for the full 14 days, then go for it! We've done it before. You can return the car early, but won't get a refund.

I would ask the rental company, but, I believe if you rent for two weeks and return it early, it will revert back to the 11 day rental price.

The computer calculates your rate. It would catch the difference and
give you one week and four days.
