Can anyone tell me if its available at BWV? We are staying there this July for a week - If not can we still enroll in this at the BC/YC?

How much does it cost and what does it include? DD9 and DNeice also 9 want DH and I to take them out on the watermice and also do the surrey(sp) bike.

I am SOO excited to be staying at BWV - its our first time staying here and although I have read some negative post recently - I think we are going to love it here! It may rival my favorite OKW!!;)

Well thanks in advance for any and all info!

Sue

And also what about BCV. I have only seen it posted in reference to VWL.

I checked out the water plans. We did the "Captain's Plan" at Contemporary. Had 4 hours for any number of people we wanted. So we used 1 hour for all 6 of us on a pontoon boat and 3 sea raycers (watermice) for 1 hour each. We put 2 people in each of the 3 sea raycers. It was about $133. I was told that the plans are available at BC/YC, VWL, Contemp, GF, DTD, and some others, basically all the resorts that have lakes. We stayed at BCV but chose to drive over to either VWL or Contemp because we could go on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake (?). If we rented at BC, we would be limited to the small lake there. You can't get close to MGM or Epcot. We thought they had put governors on the SeaRaycers as they did not seem to go as fast as we had remembered in the past. Probably after the accident involving two teens. They have changed their signs to say that you have to have a driver's license, but if the teen can drive if there is an adult with a license in the boat with them. My husband and I had to split up and ride with our two teen grandchildren instead of letting them ride together.

The surrey bikes are not included in the boat and bike plan, only the regular biks. We have stayed at BCV but chose to rent the boat at WLV. You basically sign a contract and it is only good at the location that you sign up for. We had 4 16 year old girls last year and they loved it, they used it every day for about 2-3 hours, all of the CM's knew them. You do have to check in at the desk every 30 minutes to an hour to see if they needed the boats, most of the times they would just wave you back out. We were there for 2 weeks and I think only once they had to come in and get another ticket. It is a lot of fun on seven seas lagoon and bay lake, I would not consider any place else. You can then ride your bikes over to the campsites which is also fun. I believe the price went up this year but it is still under 250, if I remember correctly. Have fun, we will be back at the end of June but only with 2 girls this year.:sunny:

JFI: New policy at the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake is that a licensed driver must be in the boat to rent them. 12 and older can drive with the licensed driver. To drive alone you must have a valid driver's license.

I don't know if the plans have started again? Anyone know? I know they were discontinued for a while this spring but at the Polynesian I was told that the plans would be offered again this summer.

Also for the Polynesian and GF, you had to be a guest of that resort to sign up for the plans. Don't know if that will change but I would doubt it.
