Weekends thru CRO

Hi- We are looking into staying nine days in June/July. If we rent during the week and book the weekends thru CRO, what are the chances we'll get to keep the same one bedroom. My DH does not want to move!

No way to really know - they will try to keep you in the same room, but it may not be possible. At a minimum, you will have to go to the Front Desk and check out and back in again between the DVC points and CRO cash portions of your stay. To minimize the chances of having to move, make sure you give give the owner your CRO confirmation number and have him/her ask MS to note your request to stay in the same room. Give CRO your DVC confirmation number and ask CRO to note your request to stay in the same room.

If you are staying in a points only category, you will have to move. For example, BW view or standard view at BWV. You cannot get either for cash through CRO. Some dedicated two bedroom villas are also points only reservations.

We have booked weekend nights through CRO in the middle of a stay twice, and neither time did we have to move. We have done this at OKW in October with a 2-bedroom and SSR in April with a 2-bedroom. We knew there was a possibility of having to move, but were okay with that. They told us at check-in that we would get to keep the same unit the whole time through, and that we just had to go down and swap our keys out twice. An added bonus was that we got mousekeeping for those cash-through-CRO nights.

Thanks for the replys- this is probably what we'll do. If we have to move, then so be it.
