We're going to WDW on 8th Dec - 15th Dec 2006. :mickeyjum As with most people I want to spend my first full day in MK. :tink:
But Our first full day is a Saturday and I when I looked at the operating hours on the Disney website I noticed the time it closes changes from 7pm to 10pm.
Is this because the park is really really busy on weekends in Dec?
Will spectromagic be on because of the late closing?
Is it worth going to MK or should I pick a different park for my first day?
Thanks :smickey:

We were there last Dec. and went to MK on Saturday (12/10) afternoon/evening. It was packed! Although, I have never been during "busy" season so I don't have much to compare it to. My DH and DS6 stayed to ride rides (it was open til midnight) while I took my other two back to the resort. This was right before the parade and wishes. I could not get through the crowds. It took us about 45 min. to get from main street to the monorail. I was done... My DH said that it was really crowded and only rode a few rides during the 2 hours. He however rode most while everyone was watching the parade and fireworks. I thought it was too crowded though so we have decided to avoid MK altogether this year. If you want to go to MK on that Saturday, I would go in the morning and then park hop or spend the rest of the day at the resort or DTD.

Hmmm I thought it might be oh well :confused3
Thanks for your help :)
Does anyone know how busy it is on Sundays in December in MK?
