My DH and I are just back from a quick weekend trip to WDW so I thought I'd share an update!

We did the Food & Wine Fest on Saturday and it was crowded, but manageable. The weather was perfect during the day, and cooler than I was expecting at night.
Joey Fatone from NSync was behind me in line at the F&WF booth in France!
The Wine Walkabout in Austalia is great! Lucky for a lightweight like me, you don't have to do all the tastings at once, but you can come back throughout the day with your "passport."
We had planned to do the Haunted Hayride Saturday night, but when I called on our way there to see if it was already sold out, they told me it had been cancelled this year. What a bummer! Anyone know why?
We tried out Disney Quest late on Saturday night and it was so fun! I haven't played Ms. Pac Man in years and quickly discovered that I could play it for hours!

Today (Sunday) we hit MK and I was expecting it to be mobbed, but it wasn't very crowded at all. Weather was once again perfect too!
In at least a million trips to MK, we've never had a Casey's hot dog, but everyone on these boards raves about them so we tried it out and it was a highlight of the trip for sure! Never to be missed again!
The new Stitch ride was open the whole time we were in Tomorrowland this afternoon. I'm sure kids will love it, but for my DH and I, we probably won't do it again.
It was so fun at the end of the day to watch the kids (and parents!) come in all dressed up for MNSSHP. This looks like such a fun event! I hated to leave. As an annual passholder, I hate the idea of paying to go to the park when I've technically already paid to go into the park. Any other APers out there with a good rationalization for my cheaper side?? (please! It looked so fun!)

Those are the highlights! Great weekend trip :earsgirl:

Thanks for the post! It sounds like you had a terrific time!

I've been wondering both about the crowd factor and the Stitch ride as our trip approaches. I can't wait until MNSSHP! :bounce:

Did they happen to have an offical height requirement up for the Stitch ride?

Thanks!

As an AP holder that went to MNSSHP I don't mind buying a ticket to a special event now and then. I have lost count of how many times I have been to the park so I more than got my monies worth out of the AP.

It was nice being part of an event that not everyone could attend. Some of the rides were walk ons, the parade was special so I didn't have a problem with having to buy a ticket.

Safetymom - excellent point about getting your money's worth out of the AP already!! My DH and I probably already have 10 times over as well. I never thought of it that way... thanks!! :teeth:

Spacy9 - I do remember a CM standing at the entrance to the Stitch ride with a measuring stick but I don't know the details. I would bet it's the same requirement as the Alien Encounter ride before it. Sorry!
