Okay...so here goes my first food review. :yay: The crew for this trip was as follows...

That's me. I was the planner behind the trip and the lover of WDW. We were going for my birthday which would be on Friday the 22nd.

That's my younger brother Taylor. He was more excited about the food, than anything else.

That's my Mom, Kim. She was more than happy to just sit back and let me plan.

Okay...here we go.
We left Naples for WDW at about 1:00pm. The weather in Naples wasn't too bad...a slight drizzle. The effects of Fay were still semi upon us, but we knew Orlando would be worse. We arrived in Disney at around 4:15 and went to All Star Music to check in. We were just staying there Thursday night. After we checked in, we headed over to Coronado Springs for dinner at the Pepper Market. Both my mom and I had the taco salad, but I had mine with beef and she had hers with chicken. Here is her taco salad with chicken:

And here is mine with beef:

Taylor had the Bourbon Chicken with white rice:

The taco salad was quite large but seemed to not have a lot of lettuce. I also noticed that mine was very watery. I probably would order the wet burrito if I went again. I gave it a 6/10.

My mom thought the taco salad was on par for a taco salad. She didn't like that it was all in sections. She said she probably wouldn't order it again, since there are so many options at Pepper Market. She gave it a 7/10.

Taylor ate all of his bourbon chicken but said it was only okay and that there was too much sauce on it. He would not order it again and gave it a 6/10.

Overall, the Pepper Market was good. The atmosphere is nice and it was really not crowded at all.
The bill came out to $49.00 and is broken down like this:
-2 Cold Beverages: $4.38
-Bourbon Chicken: $12.95
-2 Taco Salads: $24.50
-Service Charge: $4.18
-Tax: $2.99

Next up is my birthday! Epcot for the day!:cheer2:

Alrighty...onto Friday the 22nd...my birthday! My mom tried to tell me that we were staying at Coronado Springs for the rest of the trip, but I knew better. We were staying at the Contemporary, which is my favorite hotel. I had ordered a birthday shirt so I put that on and got ready to celebrate my bday in WDW! Woo-Hoo! It was slightly raining when we left the room and headed down to the Music Intermission Food Court for breakfast. They are renovating the food court, so it is some what confusing when you walk in. I wanted to get a breakfast sandwich, but didn't see the line for it until it was too late.
I got an everything bagel with cream cheese, banana and a chocolate milk:

My mom got the western omelette with bacon and breakfast potatoes:

And Taylor decided to try a croissant:
DSC03871.jpg

I thought the bagel was good and tasted fresh. The worse thing was trying to spread cold cream cheese with a plastic knife. The banana was very good and of course so was the chocolate milk! I would get the meal again and gave it a 9/10.
My mom thought the omelette was good. She also enjoyed the bacon. She only ate maybe two breakfast potatoes, so really didn't form an opinion on them. She would order it again and have it an 8/10.
Taylor discovered that he loved croissants! He said he would eat them every single day and obviously gave it a 10/10.

Total cost was $21.96. Here is how it broke down:
-Everything bagel: $2.29
-Croissant: $2.29
-Western Omelette: $6.99
-Bacon: $1.99
-Chocolate Milk: $1.99
-Cold Beverage: $2.29
-Hot Beverage: $1.99
-Banana: $.99
-Tax: $1.44

After breakfast, we headed off for Epcot. We arrived there at about 9:05 and I headed to get a Fastpass for Soarin'. Test Track was closed (due to the rain) so we did Mission Space. When we walked in, we were given Dream Fastpasses! Yessss!!! I jumped and skipped in joy!

The park was not too crowded, due to the rain, so we only used them for Test Track when we returned that night. After Soarin' and before The Land, I stopped to get a water at Sunshine Seasons. My mom saw an Oh! Henry and said lets try it and Taylor got a Butterfinger. All 3 items seen here:
DSC03815.jpg

I'm not a big candy person, so it was nice that the Oh! Henry is in two bars inside the one wrapper. We thought it was good and Taylor liked his Butterfinger.
Total cost was $5.39 and broke down like this:
-Butterfinger: $1.59
-Oh! Henry: $1.59
-Large Bottled Water: $2.00
-Tax: $.21

At about 12:20 we headed over to the Electric Umbrella for lunch. It was not as crowded as I thought it may be. I ordered the food and Taylor and my mom headed upstairs for a table.
I got the cheeseburger with fries and a diet coke:

My mom got the veggie wrap, fries and water:

And Taylor got the chicken nuggets with fries and a coke:
DSC03819.jpg

We all enjoyed this meal. I have read some bad reviews about the Electric Umbrella but we had no complaints. My burger was hot and fresh as were the fries. I would get it again and gave it a 9/10.
My mom said the veggie wrap was better than expected and the fries were great. She would get both again and gave it a 8/10.
Taylor said the chicken nuggets were good and that he would get it again. He gave it a 9/10.
Total bill came to $25.94 and this is how it broke down:
-Cheeseburger with fries: $6.09
-Chicken Nuggest with fries: $6.89
-Veggie Wrap with fries: $6.79
-2 Medium Beverages: $4.58
-Tax: $1.59

We hung around Epcot until like 2:30 and actually saw the sun for a little bit in the afternoon. Next we left the park and headed for the Beach Club for our afternoon snack at Beaches and Cream. We had read about the No Way Jose and were all super excited to try it. I thought we would all order our own, and then try each others, but no one else wanted to order anything. My mom wanted the No Way Jose and so did I. Taylor was acting like a baby and complaining because he shoes were wet. He said he wanted nothing. So, we decided just to get one No Way Jose and try it.

OMG OMG OMG!!! It was amazing! The mix of the warm peanut butter and hot fudge with the ice cream was divine. The only part I didn't like was the whipped cream, but that is simply because I don't like whipped cream. We all said it was awesome and we would eat it over and over. Received 10/10! I can't seem to find the receipt but we got the No Way Jose, a coke, an iced tea and then the tip. I think it was around like $15?

After that, we headed off to the Contem...I mean, Coronado Springs. My mom still thought she was surprising me at this point. I am the hardest person to surprise! The whole trip was supposed to be a surprise and I figured it out weeks in advance. We got to the Contemporary, checked in and headed to the room. I was so excited to see it decorated for my birthday! We walked in and NO DECORATIONS!!! I was so upset I almost cried! My mom said she called a few times, but nothing. I got on the phone with the front desk and there were balloons and card waiting when we got back that night.
So we washed up and headed off back to Epcot. I always have Taco Bell for my birthday dinner. Don't ask why...its just a tradition. So, since I wasn't leaving the park, we decided on Cantina de San Angel. It had just stopped drizzling as we ordered and soon realized, there was NO dry seating. This should have been a sign to leave this location right away. Still, we went on...
My mom and I ordered the Combo Platter:
DSC03864.jpg

And Taylor ordered the nachos:
DSC03863.jpg

While ordering, I wanted to change the chicken taco. No can do. All the food was sitting ready in take out containers. We could also not get Taylor's nachos without peppers. We brought out food and stood and tried to eat. It than began to pour on us, so we threw out our food and went into the Mexico pavilion.
My mom and I thought the combo platter was GROSS! It consisted of food that was unflavored and semi under cooked. We would never get it again and gave it a 2/10.
Taylor said the nachos were too hard to eat since everything was seperated. He wouldn't get it again and gave it a 4/10.
We also got 3 orders of the bunuelos, which we thought were fresh. Nope, they were packaged. Not good.
We will never go back to Cantina de San Angel. It was a waste and very upsetting.
Total cost was $42.67 and broke down like this:
-Coke: $2.09
-Diet Coke: $2.09
-Bottled Water: $2.00
-2 Compo Platters: $17.50
-Nachos: $7.95
-Sour Cream: $.75
-3 Bunuelos: $7.80
-Tax: $2.49

We waited inside Mexico Pavilion until Illuminations, watched and then headed to the monorail to the Contemporary. When we got back, we were all starving so headed to the Tempo Grab and Go. We were all so hungry that I forgot to get pictures, but this is what we got.
I got the cheese pizza which was on flatbread. It was way better than expected and I would get it again. Gave it a 7/10.
My mom got the chilli. She said it wasn't that good and ended up sharing the pizza with me. She would not get it again and gave it a 5/10.
Taylor got a turkey sandwich and said it was okay. There was no cheese on it though. He would not get it again and gave it a 6/10. He also got a cookie which he loved. He said it was awesome and gave it a 9/10.
The total cost was $22.92 and broke down like this:
-2 Bottled Water: $4.00
-Cheese Pizza: $6.99
-Chili: $3.09
-Jumbo Cookie: $1.89
-Turkey Sandwich: $5.79
-Tax: $1.16
