Weekend Pricing for Restaurants?

When did Disney restaurants start the pactice of having different pricing on weekends? I must have missed this news. I knew about the seasonal pricing but this I did not. I was just reading the threads on the Restaurant board about 'Ohana having a higher price on weekends.

I can't seem to find any information on when this started or which restaurants are involved. Does anyone have further info on this?

I sure hope it is not true. I hope it just happens to be a holiday weekend. I can't find any infor to support this. This board has the most knowledgeable posters so I thought I would check here to see if it is real.

The only thing I noticed on our recent trip in aug was that AP discounts were not available on the weekends. As for the higher price, we didn't notice that. Not to say it was not happening.
