Magic House is a really great experience, in the event of inclement weather this weekend. I think there's a link on the article w/ coupons and you can get buy one get one free tickets. Just get there when they open or soon after because it gets busy fast!

Gotta for the Magic House! Especially if the weather is not cooperating enough for the zoo.

the Drury sounds so great- any other suggestions near the zoo,etc that are like a hotel suite? I'm looking for less $$$ than Drury possibly....

I'm from KC and we make the trip to STL primarily because my 10ds absolutely loves the City Museum we started going when he was 8 and have since taken teenagers, twenty year olds etc and all ages seem to love. We do have fun mom-son time playing in the caves and riding the slides. I would definitely recommend it if your kids are active and like to run around the entry is a bit steep $12 and I have yet to find any discounts for it. Parking is $5 right outside. We usually make a trip to the arch museum and skip the actual ride because the lines have always been too intense (I do think you can purchase them on-line beforehand but I'm not sure). I also like to take him thru St. Charles we walk around and look through all of the shops.

We always stay at the Doubletree, Westport and I got a good rate for this April via AAA for $76 a night. I am pretty picky about hotels and this one has never disappointed. Hope this helps.
