Weekend in Dec and/or January

Has anyone had luck recently at ANY resort in ANY size getting a DVC in December or January?

We came into some point and were looking to make a weekend reservation. I don't know if my luck will be better in a few weeks as it gets closer, or if it will be worse.

Those are busy times for DVC and it’s going to be hard. You have to just stalk and check constantly!!

They are busy, and with the international travel restrictions easing what was available in Jan-Feb got snapped up lickety split.

I was able to get the weekend after Thanksgiving (Sat, Sun & Mon) in a BLT standard view studio. It's not December, but it's a busy time and a tough category to get after the 7 month window opens. Got it by stalking. Don't remember when other than it wasn't at exactly 7 months, but some time later.

Anyway, cancellations happen. Keep checking & maybe you will be lucky. Goid luck!

Last week I was able to get a split stay between AKV and BLT from Jan 5-8. Just keep stalking the website. Good luck!

I was able to get Wed-Sat and Sun-Mon. Still checking all the time to try to find a Saturday night for 6 people.

I got a Poly wait list to fill over January marathon weekend. Lots of standard view rooms.
