Happy Weekend!

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Getting ready to meet up with Jennifer, I am working on character album today. Meat and veggies cut so Julia can assemble in crock pot later this morning for beef stew.

Tomorrow we will be cleaning this house and hopefully trying out the corn maze, depends on how much rain we get today and if the ground is mucky. If no corn maze then I will begin to kit pages for the kids everyday albums. Need to pull swap pieces to use up.

heading to mall to return Megan's winter coat, she doesn't like it anymore & is asking for some boots too. then run by mom's for a visit.

not sure, Megan might be spending night at BFF's or she might be staying at our place...they couldn't decide

will be finishing up cleaning, laundry and hoping to work on swap and maybe scrap a couple pages.

We slept til 11 today... Had football last night with on/off showers... unfortunately the season came to an end last night..but it was a hard fought game... now we have 4 weeks off til basketball season...

finish 4 MHs


Hmmm, can't think of anything else.. I'm sure there is something...

Sunday:

finish last 2 MHs
bag & tag the 15 bags
package up for post office on Monday
start list of items for weekend away

Had fun with Cassey, she got to meet one of my sisters, and see what I mean when I say we put the "fun" in dysfunctional! She did so many amazing pages with character names from swaps. I'm so lifting that idea!

I didn't get much done. Morgan did a small (8x8) album of her birthday party pics. I helped my sister cut vinyl for her Halloween costumes, and sorted through some swap stuff. I'm happy with what I did get done.

Took DH out for his birthday weekend dinner of Chinese food. Ran into Sophie and Ryan and their parents and grandparents So fun.

Tomorrow is the Boy Scout Olympics. Marching band is playing a song for the opening ceremonies. I'm making a turkey for DH's birthday dinner (at home), and have to bake cakes - one for his birthday and one for class to decorate on Monday. Other than that...not big things going on.

Just came in from laying in the field for 2 hours bundled up to see the meteor shower. Wish I had thought to set up the tripod to get a few pics of the blanket pile!
Need to see if I can grab meteor pics off the internet tomorrow.

Hope all is well
Yesterday we had 2 soccer games. I worked Friday night 7p to 7a so I finally went to sleep about 1p. Then had to make tie dye cupcakes for daughters field hockey party today.
Today's plans are putting dinner in crock pot then heading pumpkin picking.
Field hockey pasta party at 6. Not sure if I'm going to stay there or not. 32girls 7-8 th graders. Not sure if the mom wants other adult reinforcements.
Would like to scrap a little today. Don't go back to work til Wednesday.
I also have to get ready for first girl scout meetings Monday night.
Again hope all is well with everyone.

Morning all
t minus 5 days till the big event.
made fake torso out of newspaper. looks really spooky since it's a strapless dress and you see nothing of a body.
all "dead" people are done
all live family have costumes ready just need to sew some ripped up cloth strips on Toms suit coat.
We are on to the hay wagon, but I need tom and he worked finishing the people yesterday so unless it rains I'm thinking I need to beg dad.

Good Morning!

Had a blast with Jennifer yesterday! Morgan's album is really cute and got a lesson in cutting vinyl from Jennifer, will have to try to make some shirts for our November trip.

Christy, for making a torso! That just sounds creepy! Hope the party goes well.

Need to go to the grocery store, pack up swaps for mailing tomorrow.

Yesterday was spent running errands while DD was at Scrooge practice.
Got home just in time to switch cars and run and pick her up

We went to a few stores, finished up her partner package, pick up some undies for the bridal shower at goodwill
Went to the bridal shower
pick up girls from ex
home
dinner
carved pumpkins till late then bed

Today:
not much
working on tying up loose ends for projects
need to do some emailing about dance team fundraising
need to put together a flyer about cupcakes, people at DBF's work keep asking if I sell them, might as well make a dance fundraiser out of them for DD#2

I'm exhausted! So much cooking today! 2 cakes (box, but still), two recipes of buttercream frosting, a recipe of chocolate ganache, a turkey, stuffing, and green bean casserole! I iced the two cakes, put ganache between the layers of the chocolate. That's for DH's birthday tonight. I'll decorate the white cake at class tomorrow night, something for Halloween, I'm going to bring it to our Girl Scout Halloween party on Wednesday night. (Iced it yellow, with a layer of orange in the center, thinking candy corn).

I'm exhausted! So much cooking today! 2 cakes (box, but still), two recipes of buttercream frosting, a recipe of chocolate ganache, a turkey, stuffing, and green bean casserole! I iced the two cakes, put ganache between the layers of the chocolate. That's for DH's birthday tonight. I'll decorate the white cake at class tomorrow night, something for Halloween, I'm going to bring it to our Girl Scout Halloween party on Wednesday night. (Iced it yellow, with a layer of orange in the center, thinking candy corn).

Cheryl glad you got her all settled in. my 1st semeter I was in a quad with 3 other girls 2 from NYC and 1 from Grennich (sp?) CT I lasted abt 3 weeks and moved myself down the hall to a triple that only had 2 girls from VT. Talk abt a fish out of water!

Rachel yay for trip papyoffs, what abt setting aside the money for the others to see if you'll really all do them? We never made it to universal boys needed down days.

Jen your cooking day sounds like me at work somedays. At least the bday only comes once a year

Universal is a must! I have already tried to cut it but got vetoed. its the second most expensive day on our whole trip. The others are nothing compared to that day!

We have downtime built in to our trip, but my kids like to commando it, they tend to have a hard time with being there and not doing stuff. They sleep when they get home
