Weekday or weekend?

We are heading to Hong Kong at end of October/beginning November for 9 days.

I want to spend 2 days at Disneyland and stay at the Disneyland Hotel.

Here is my dilemma - it would be easiest for us to do Disney at the end of our trip but this is over the weekend.

How are the crowds at weekends? Everything I have read says to go on a weekday if possible BUT on the other hand are the opening hours extended on weekends and are there more parades/shows etc?

I have heard the same - that weekdays are best so that is when I planned my trips and they were great crowd wise, plus the hotel rates are cheaper as well. Since I have never booked at weekend trip - I can't say but I am sure someone will have some thoughts about it!

I assume weekdays are better too -- is there a difference between Friday and Monday? Those are my only weekday options during my September trip.
