Anyone ever been during this week? How are crowds? We live in socal but like to go and stay in the hotels for a few days, we've done spring break and had a blast, wondering if thanksgiving is any worse, crowd wise?

1. Spring break has some peaks so it depends if you were there near Easter or at the extreme ends.
2. Thankgiving week is variable. Slow then fast. So get a lot in right away and leave more leisure time for the crowd that will show up. It will get very busy like some spring break days, not insane.
Did see some good advise if you are having dinner on thankgiving make a reservation early because everyone has the same idea.
Our schools spring break isn't actually the week of easter.....This year its March 19-30 Maybe we should go during this time. We've adopted 2 more kids this year so we are taking a total of 5 kids, two that have never been before at all.....
I personally experienced Thanksgiving day and the 2 days following last year and we had a fantastic time - low crowds. The days leading up to Thanksgiving are CROWDED - no APs are blocked. We're headed back for the same days this year, APs are still blocked so we're looking forward to a great time - see *this* *that was 2009 - 2010 was no different and I don't imagine this year being any different* taken from *here* for more info.
