Is the week after the Labor Day weekend very busy? I have heard that the weekend can get pretty busy. Also the Tom Joyner Reunion, is it over after Labor Day, or does it carry on through that whole week? I usually go at the end of September, & now I am thinking I should reschedule.

We used to go week after Labor Day Monday every year (see my sig).

NO CROWDS at all! NO LINES! But it was HOT! 90 degrees plus every day. But its more bearable without all the people!

I don't know anything about TJ weekend so can't help you there.

We were there last year after the DVC Member Cruise. It was very empty. We walked onto rides and stayed on the rides as no one was waiting when we got back. It was a great time to go. :thumbsup2

Keep in mind, though, that it is still hurricane season.

We were there as well last year and it was pretty much empty. The Friday after Labor Day does get busier due to Night of Joy but other than that it was great. We will be there again this year as well.

We try to go every Labor Day weekend and stay until Wednesday. It is crowded during the weekend but not like other holidays. Tuesday, the parks are pretty empty.

We have gone every Labor Day weekend for the past 10 years. It is always hot. It is always crowded but not as crowded as other holiday weekends. We always arrive on Sat. morn and leave on Mon. afternoon so I couldnt tell you about the weekdays. This labor day weekend we have a 2 bedroom booked at the BWV- Hope the hurricanes stay away this year!!

We went last year for the Saturday before Labor Day and stayed the whole week. We followed tourguidemike's advice, but had no crowds or lines at all. It was great! We stayed at BWV and the pools were fairly empty, too. I plan to go back at that time often.

We were at WDW the last week of August last year (Katrina was pounding New Orleans while we were there) and there were almost no lines and no crowds. We did all the rides we wanted as many times as we wanted. It was great and I just bought into DVC with a SSR resale through TTS with a September use year because of our experience during that time of year.
But I have to agree - it was hot - 2 changes of clothes each day kind of hot!
